  1. I'm bringing: 125 birdshot 600 slugs 300 pistol 300 rifle I am determined to hit ALL targets and send enough slugs so that Chad has to go swimming to get that slug target.....stage time be damned!
  2. Top prize was a PVS 14 monocular which I'm guessing came from TNVChttps://practiscore.com/results.php?uuid=A287C93D-39C3-4B47-AFED-600F74CD4FE8 What a pull! TNVC rocks.
  3. Shot mine at the 3GN Regional last weekend and it worked great. I only shot 69gr SMK handloads tho. It doesnt do as well with 55gr after playing with it before leaving for the match tho. 55 gr is all I have tried so far. 55's wouldn't lock back for me and i would have had to open the gas setting further to make it work. I'm also running an RCA LW BCG and Taccom ULW buffer system too. 69gr ammo going 2666fps makes the gun run like a top and recoil is soft. Will you be at Rockcastle? Leaving around 4am Thursday morning to head back there after last weekend's match.

  6. I don't need ALL of you with hangovers.....just a few select shooters on the pro side. ;-)I saw the regional results. Youre gonna need a bunch of hangovers! No kidding....I'm considering making some extra strong drinks to bring with me for some of you. What was the recipe for Sizurp again?

  8. LT said it was more effective to send a working "girl" to your hotel room. How tall should he be?
  9. I'm considering bringing a bunch of money with me to buy Jesse and several other select shooters all the booze they can drink. I learned about the strategy from Lawrence Taylor.
  10. You shot the HELL outta that table. in court, I will testify on your behalf that the table wasn't as innocent as everyone makes it out to be tho! I thought the stages were great, often simple tests of skill without being overly complicated or requiring a big stage plan, then slightly more technical stages with tests of skill that mattered slightly less while requiring you to execute a good stage plan. Fresh paint was the had often, target presentation was excellent and with the exception of a couple harder to see slug targets there was no issue knowing where targets where and what they could be shot with. I like the paint determinations for steel targets (orange = pistol/rifle, white = pistol/shotgun), but I would probably suggest a different color than black for slug steel since it is easily lost against the tree line or in the woods. I had one issue with the match, and it was with one particular shooter....ME. I will tell you one thing about these types of stages, being able to shoot and load all guns while moving will only get you so far....you better have a GOOD plan for the stage and your mind ready to execute it without missing, passing up shooting lanes, landmarks, or forgetting targets...or it's going to hurt!
  11. Eat bananas, stretch, find a magical way to keep your glasses from fogging up..... I like to have a couple bananas with breakfast and snag 1-2 more for the cooler from the hotel buffet to have later in the day. I also like to drink 2 waters to each G2 Gatorade while having salted peanuts or trailmix. You're losing more than water when you sweat after all.
  12. I'll be at both matches. Gentleman....just IM me or grab me when you see me there and I will hand them off.
  13. You gonna be around next weekend? I could leave some behind for you with someone if needed. I don't want any warm engrish beer tho.....a whiskey and coke would work. ;-)Hey if you could leave it with Gary as I know hes setting up stages, plus tap him up for a couple of drinks on my tab!If Gary is there this weekend, I'll leave a couple boxes with him.

  15. Dillen I still have not received an application for you. I did receive this but sent it back. bwahahahahahahahaha........I laughed when I wrote it, if that means anything!
  16. bwhahahahahaha........if this train is gonna derail, it might as well be funny when it comes off the tracks!
  17. If you have the time, patience, and money....you can make any of the above work fine. I've considered building an SBR for 3-gun....lightweight BCG, lightweight buffer system, adjustable gas block. I would likely use an 11.5" or 12.5" barrel with 11-13" handguard depending on the comp used.
  18. I have both a T1 and an M4s, and both are 2MOA. If you are seeing either while shooting, your eyes are focused on the wrong things. If you cannot see the dot on the T1, your cheekweld is poor and you probably wouldn't have been hitting anything distant with a bad cheekweld anyways. In close paper, out to about 50 yards, the M4/M4s is a little more forgiving with it's larger lenses in case your cheekweld is a little off, and you can afford to be slightly off on paper and larger steel at those distances. I first had the M4s and loved it, I still do. Then picked up a T1 since everyone was ranting and raving about how great it is, and I love it too. At first, I thought the T1 was going to be slower due to the tiny window you have to look thru, but found that when I snapped the gun up to a good cheekweld, I didn't see anything but the dot and the target anyways. If you could only afford to have one, already have one, and are considering switching, I wouldn't waste the effort personally. The weight difference isn't out at the muzzle and is on the receiver in the center of the gun, so you don't really notice it much. A lightweight profile barrel may do more for you there.
  19. Austin can't be president by today's standard.....we haven't had a president that short since James Madison!
  20. I'm thinking 50 to 75 yds. If still thinking......how much would it cost me to have those at 75 instead of 50? :-) I'll double what Dillen is paying to keep them at 50. I'll save at least that much not having to ship and shoot an entire case of slugs at the match trying to hit those. I will pitch in on that. Or, how much to make them optional, either shotgun slug or rifle? RIFLE? Might as well make those slug targets at 100 and make each one a 60 second penalty for FTN! hahahahaha
