  1. Very impressive! I was all giddy about my reload times, but you're smokin at 2.6 seconds! I may have to give the strong hand reload a chance again...never thought to bring the shtogun up like that.
  2. email ken from the website....since I've paid to shoot this year, and so has a friend (we RO the local matches there a lot), there should be a couple spaces available for ROs.
  3. 1: Shooters who don't help reset, tape.....yet complain 2: Overly complicated stages...run up, run back, run up, run back 3: Every shot fired from a single shooting position 4: Slugs fired on small targets and/or from unstable platforms 5: Blatantly obvious target positions that require or encourage unsafe shots. (shooting a headshot on a paper silhouette 7' away with a noshoot covering all but the head, at an upward 15 degree angle with a 168gr SMK) I dont mind a few single and two gun stages....it will play to some strengths and expose some weaknesses for everyone if there is an all pistol, all shotgun, and all rifle stage present. Tho 3/10 being single gun sucks too! I dont mind slugs out to 75 yards or so on large poppers, but not clay targets or small steel at 50 yards, never from swinging tables or bridges. I dont mind a little athletic ability being required and I'm fat! Gets the heart rate up and breathing rate increased to make the next part more challenging.
  4. There is an opening in the roof through which you may choose to shoot. Sounds great....thanks You might hold that comment until after you shoot it. Seriously, it is not bad either way, but the choice of which way to shoot it is not easy. My squad shoots that stage first too! haha I'm considering building a prop to practice "limo" stages with a bench seat to stand on to shoot through the sunroof, or shoot seated through the windows. Just wish I had pics of what we are using to build my prop from!

  6. let the shoosting begin!

  7. From the stage description on Stage 8, it appears we have the choice of starting in the drivers seat with our shotgun pointed at the target or seated in the rear "on the deck" with our shotgun in a stage box. Can I assume that means the car will be a convertible or have a sunroof? I am reloading with the quad load method primarily and looking for a heads up on how to practice my seated reloads. Thanks
  8. Are they having a shoot at CMMG this month? Yes I was only joking about the treacherous journey into Illinois..........but seriously, who would smuggle me out? See some of you at CMMG. It will be my last match if Chuck Norris is getting into 3-gun...trying to get better to match your competition with him shooting is like trying to climb a never ending mountain of ice.
  9. Its a dangerous journey from Missouri into Illinois.....but sounds like fun Jeremy. $40 isn't too bad either. See you at CMMG monthly match on the 20th and I'll get some more details.
  10. Edit: Found a place to stay for the match. Generosity in Texas is exceptional! Look forward to seeing some top notch shooting!
