  1. 1911 speed shop works on them. Let me know if you need anything..
  2. I had both units and just sold it!! gave up and just bought a ruger! no time to f%$$#^# with that crap..
  3. I read that Regional directors will register all the competitors. I guess I dont have to register.
  4. Go to Henning Wallgreen's website and I would put on his 10.75lbs recoil spring. Its perfect for 10mm and .40cal
  5. do yourself a favor and buy a 90 degree side mount. now you have solved ejection problems! who cares if it looks funny, that was my first impression but after shooting it, it improved my shooting( faster dot aquisition coz scope is soo low). Gun works 100%!! and buy adding a steel or aluminum grip on my 2011 it flattened even more! I wish I had a video side by side when i bought it to the range. Had my buddies shoot 2011 palstic grip with regular allchin mount then shoot the aluminum grip 2011 with the side mount...it was night and day difference!! I believe it has something to do with the frequency of the metal during recoil(learned it in archery making arrows and choosing different shafts to match our metal riser) and both guns were in 9major! what more if it was 38 super! Also read in IPSC global Village that Double Alpha Saul Kirsh makes a grip kit that lessens about 20% in recoil also..
  6. Spot on. Dipping down will cause that, try cutting spring coils 1 at a time or go next one down in recoil spring. Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
  7. Just shoot it! its range time. I would practice whatever I have till its gone.
  8. You are a novice now just like I was 10 years ago when Brian sold me my first 650. still have it and couldnt be happier!! +1 get the 650 never look back! its a hell of an investment and will only go up in value.
  9. Rick is it the left scope? looks about the same glass as the leupold?
  10. For compressed loads in 9major such as Imr 7625, whem I use cci magnum primers, it seems that I get more powder burned as compared to regular cci pistol primers. It does make a difference.
  11. I shoot a 9x21 barrel and feed it 9mm, once in awhile I would get a jam and see a 9x18 brass that didnt eject! that is all, I now pay close attention when reloading and do find some of these brass. They are shorter than 9x19!
  12. I take a factory bullet, measure it and andjust mine as a reference.
  13. I saw this today and can be ordered custom made. It is used by military and they claim that there's no time to put on the hearing when IDE or shooting occurs. These double filtered plugs increases DBa as the noise outside gets worse! It is also claimed that it is good enough to hear conversations. The way to order it is to get an audiologist to make custom impressions and then send it in to EAR to make the custom molded hearingdefenders DF. Any thoughs on this? I think its a great idea and almost the same concept as the analog ESP for 800.00 bucks? but these are just about little over $100 dollars..it is also compared to full custom molder silicone ears and these are better! here is the link: http://www.earinc.com/p1-dual-filtered.php
  14. Been there done that, becareful loading so much as it will crack your grip. 28+1 is good enough for me, as there is always a reload place in a stage somewhere. Reliability goes a long way!
  15. Tough competition out there, dont expect much. but to be ccompetitive in M class, got to be shooting GM times and points. I have been in that class for the last 6 years. I now finally just train to shoot for fun and it does show that fast times, good points does have to come naturally..when you start winning in area matches then consider yourself in top M! by then expect to be bumped to GM. At GM level I hope you can train hard and hopefully can beat super GM's someday.
  16. Be careful of hollow bits, they will break and now you really have a problem! stay with good brands like craftmans, dont ever get china tools.
  17. Has anyone experienced loosing zero on the c-more when tilted sideways? I think I had it twice now, not sure why. Thanks, Eli. Yes I have, what i do is I bought a cheap sight bore laser and adjust it so that I have about 1/8 inch between 2 dots on my scope at about 10meters. I also take a blue locktight and lock the cmore adjustment screws.
  18. Ah sounds all good! Thanks for the replies.
  19. i have been thinkin of getting a cheap enough reloader to be brought to the shooting range and find a good loads to different guns. What would you guys recommend as a reloader? Thinkin of Dillon 550 that can be clamped on a bench, then off course with a tool box full of different powders.
  20. I have done my own and got it to about just under 2lbs. dont want it lighter than that. When adrenalin goes during shooting, you dont need 1 lbs trigger..as long as its safe and crisp.
  21. Bowling chalk grip are preety cheap also.
  22. DAA plastic pouches can accomodate STI,CZ,Tanfoglio, glock. You have to just take off the knob pin and place it to fit the CZ, Tanfoglio mags. Works well for Cz, Tanz if you leave it on STI spacer..just have to tighten a bit but it holds. I do it coz Im too lazy to put the knobs where they are suppose to. Besides I switch to STI 1 week, then Cz the following week then Sti..Lol
