Slide sits higher,this way recoil is absorbed better on the hands. Different world compared to 2011.My opinion, you would need more parts to maintain this than a 2011 gun, just my experience. 9mm doesn't work. 38super can run 100 percent but finicky.. slide to fit barrel and slide is loose and not custom fitted. I must admit, they are beautiful and has a competitive price compared to 2011.

Use Tanfoglio followers, they will stack better. sacrifice additional ammo for reliability. My factory chrome mag is more reliable also. I picked all my mags that just WORKS! end of story.

You must run undersize EGW die or new brass. The reload brass would have a bulge at the bottom of the case that makes the bullet dive. If you use new brass it will not dive. try it.

Steel compensator is also needed to balance the gun.

Hose the target left, bottom middle target, to right and shoot control shot on that noshoot hi middle ipsc target.

anyone else plan on a Europe trip after the match? if so, what do you do with your firearm?

Thank you for all the reply..I will try to share room with a some shooters to save a bit, my family will meet me after the match in France. I'll search what is the best solution to do this, I'm sure other shooters are planning on vacation after the match also?

Eric, non lightened slide is soft and dot is sliggish and bounces slow..(I like it coz I can call all my shots all day long.) lighter the slide, the faster the dot comes back, faster the dot bounces.(like my Eaa V12) I'm sure you already know this.

This would be our first over seas travel and just wanted to know what are plans for shooters need to make this happen. So Far, I'll start this off with a few list. 1) Apply for passport now 2) Request for vacation time, WS 2011 official date Oct 1-9, Plan be there 2 or 1 days before? 3) Request a slot from Michael Voight Asap. 4) Where to get Visas and firearm permits, 5) What airline(gun friendly), use travel agency or directly with airline? connecting flight or direct flight? 6) How much will this cost? 7) Planning on meeting my family after main match in France? will be ok traveling with my gun while we go to a Europe trip?

No...small frame takes small slide like Cz. Large frame takes large frame slide. you ordered the correct firing pin. I'm sure of it.

FOr Dawson comp, since we are running 9 major, it makes more sense to get the Dawson 1 with no port holes so you get more gas. If running 38super then yes it makes more sense to get the Dawson 2(aka Todd Jarret) to make the comp be more effective. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

try lock washers with blue locktight. to take the screw off, touch it with soldering iron to loosen the locktight.

TS has a bigger fatter mag body than SP01 that Grams made followers and springs for Cz. +1 call CZ or send the mag to Cz to have them replace it for FREE!!

picture of the mag would be nice and dimension with cliper. if you have an sti spring does it go it the mag? or does it snag on detent or something?

I used 11.o lbs recoil spring on my goldteam 9mm with minor load. also cut 1-2 coil off. should be 11.0lbs recoil spring..

Match is 4.75 barrel. Got that info from Eaa. I checked all models and they are either 4.5 barrel or 4.75 barrel. Goldteam is 5.25 barrel but I know my slide on my goldteam V12 is 4.75inch slide. If someone has a match model please check how long the slide with a ruler please.

should be OK. My eaa goldteam which has 8 holes on the barrel! shoots well and accurate.

Get Limited Eaa gun in .38super and put a compensator on it. Custom made, barrel can be checked and timed perfectly. just my opinion.

Rick, When I shot Area 2 some years ago, I learned to take your time on the SPEED swingers especially when it iss set at 30 yrds..but those stages are a blast! I would miss Nationals for Area 2 any day. Regards, Ed
