Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I was about to list these in the classified section but thought I'd ask a question first. The Wolf Springs package states 9mm for an 18 and 20# recoil spring. I never used them and I'm wondering if they are correct for the 10mm or did I receive the wrong ones when ordered? Thought I'd ask here before calling Henning. BTW: I have Wolf recoil, xtra power mag and a hammer spring. All other parts are Hennings. Thanks
  2. 15-15 1/2 wide (rounded corners) 10 1/2 high 3" deep Three latches with a combination lock
  3. I have a NIB that came with my Witness Limited 10mm. Looking for what is the fair market value to ask.
  4. I loved the look and feel of the Limited 10mm that I did shoot but it had too many issues so I finally gave up on the platform. I have a Glock 20 and a Colt Delta Elite and I have none of the same issues that plagued my Limited. The gun that I sold was still in the wrap as shipped from Italy. I think the buyer got a very good deal and hope he enjoys it.
  5. About to sell my remaining Witness Limited mags and Sprinco recoil reducer (sold the NIB Limited on GB) this week. I have three K-10 mags with the black follower. All have the stainless matching base plate (not the black base). One is NIB & two are as new. What is the going price on these? I will also be selling the Sprinco recoil rod reducer. The buyer of the gun is also interested in the three mags. Thanks!
  6. I just sold my NIB Witness Limited 10mm on GB with two new mags for $995 + shipping. That was my starting price with no reserve and I had a single bidder.
  7. Cha-Lee: your most generous offer is greatly appreciated! Fortunately this gun came thru Davidson's Firearms so I'm taking it to one of their local dealers. They pay the shipping both ways back to EAA for repairs. I would purchase Henning's sear and hammer if I was more handy. Henning told me they require fitting. I'm not that confident in my ability. Wish you lived closer ;-)
  8. You guys nailed it. Cha-Lee: the hammer fell to the half cock position! This really concerns me for a $1,000 gun. I would expect the sear/hammer to be good for 5,000 - 10,000 rounds. Just might be time to get her all fixed and say good-bye to Tanfoglio's :-(
  9. Update: last night I used my flashlight to look back towards the hammer & where the sear is located and noticed an accumulation of stuff. It was very thin so I used a dental pic to glide it out. It sure looks like shiny metal.
  10. Nealio: are you saying it has worn out and needs to go back to EAA as a warranty claim?
  11. Do you mean the trigger adjustment screw that is located in the lower housing that requires the slide to be removed to adjust? Everything appears tight to my finger just forward of the hammer.
  12. Witness Limited 10mm with about 875 rounds fired since purchasing new: During the range visit the following occurred in case it helps to diagnose: 1. the slide rarely locked open on the last round ( I loaded only 3 rounds per mag ) 2. I've got the newer mags with the black follower 3. when the last round in each mag was fired the hammer would on occasion rest at the half cock position 4. other than the above the gun functioned perfectly 5. 180gr FMJ - my loads After getting back home and cleaning the gun. I checked by inserting an empty mag and locked the slide back. The hammer moved fully to the rear but when I release the slide stop she goes into battery BUT the hammer moves forward to the "half cock resting position". Anyone experienced this? Thank you!
  13. I prefer my Witness Limited 10mm compared to my G20 but this Limited is my 4th and it has run purrrfect BUT the 3 before it all had feeding issues.
