  1. The 9mm breech face is too small for 40 cases, but you can put a 9mm SP01 barrel in a 40 slide.
  2. With regular CZ 75 mags the dimensions are the same between 9 and 40, but not the TS, I've shot 9mm out of a 40 TS mag and it works OK until the last round which flips up and jams.
  3. Nope, but I'd be happy to trade for a single sided safety
  4. The lengths vary by manufacturer and age, but for a visual I simply lock the slide open and push the back of the firing pin to flush with the back of the slide and look at the breech face; the factory pin doesn't protrude past the breech, but the extended one does.
  5. I've never heard of someone puncturing a small pistol primer in 9 major.
  6. if you insist on loading HP38 do yourself a favor and shoot minor until you can get a suitable powder. Take a look at this burn rate chart: https://www.hodgdon.com/PDF/Burn%20Rates%20-%202015-2016.pdf Anything between True Blue and 3N38 will serve you well.
  7. It it really was a CZ75 you shot it features the worst frame CZ makes; the stumpy beaver tail digs into the web of your hand and the frame is smooth on the front and back straps. An SP01 frame has a longer beaver tail, and some checkering, but in my opinion still doesn't compare to the luxurious beaver tail and checkering of a Tanfo.
  8. The shelf bracket is to mount on the casefeed support of a 1050 like this: I've since sold the 1050 and mounted to the bench next to my 650 with a longer piece of 4" pipe: This setup is awesome!
  9. Red, Production rules are written to keep all the entry-level platforms on a somewhat even playing field, CZs and Tanfoglios are already the hot ticket, even handicapped with the hammer down start. What do you think the field would look like if you could start with a sub two pound SA trigger cocked and locked?
  10. But then again, I guess you can make anything work with enough modification
  11. It would physically fit although it wouldn't touch either side of the frame and there would be no place in the frame to attach a trigger bar spring or trigger return spring.
  12. I like the factory checkered wood, they fill the hand nicely. I cut a set of factory black plastic grips to work with the magwell, but they're a little thin for me.
  13. Decockers are fine, just hit the lever and holster.
  14. Nooooooo! Before you hack up those beautiful paddles let talk about trading for smaller ones
  15. Negative, the 97 is a large frame and the TS is a small frame (albeit a wide bodied small frame). The TS utilizes a uniques frame and trigger bar. If you want a heavy, accurate DA/SA CZ75 pattern pistol I suggest buying a Tanfoglio Limited or Hunter and converting it to DA/SA. The trigger bar is the same in SA and DA/SA Tanfoglios.
  16. Manual safety SP01 9mm, then this: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=191773
  17. The left side safety is specific to the TS (it's longer), but you could use a flatter right side safety like that from an SP01 (or just ground down the right side TS safety).
  18. What type of pistol are you shooting? I never use case guages, only the barrel of my pistol.
  19. TG is not one of the powders I've heard stories of inconsistencies between lot numbers so you'll probably be fine. Jus so you know my Dillon powder hopper is good for consistent charges until the last two.
  20. In every block of marble I see a statue as plain as though it stood before me, shaped and perfect in attitude and action. I have only to hew away the rough walls that imprison the lovely apparition to reveal it to the other eyes as mine see it. - Michelangelo
  21. It won't work, a 40 rim is too big for a 9mm breech face.
