  1. They list the same load data for 9x19. Peter, I went back and reviewed the data and remembered my point: Vihtavuori lists a 3N38 9x21 load for 115s which could be loaded in 9x19 and makes 171PF! 115gr JHP @ 1.161" over 9.4gr 3N38 - 1483fps Which just happens to be my favorite load using SP2 instead of 3N38
  2. From a shooter's perspective, I get 6% variation in velocity between my slowest gun and my fastest gun, that means 170pf in one gun is 180pf in another. From a business owner's perspective I wonder if Atlanta Arms' insurance carrier has ever seem their flimsy disclaimer on their 9 major ammo: "Warning: This ammunitions EXCEEDS SAMMI Specification and should only be used through a competition race gun." Vihtavuori actually lists a 3N38 9x21 load for 147s which could be loaded in 9x19 and makes major, so it's possible but HS6 and 115s? Try telling your liability insurance carrier you load 30% more powder than the max specified by the manufacturer What about if a $10/hr employee mixes 9 minor and 9 major powder? You've got a case full of little grenades
  3. 22.2 applies to specifically to revolvers. Replacement grip panels are specifically allowed, they do not extend below the but of the gun, nor change the profile.
  4. I drilled my two CZ Open frames with the CM pattern: (3) M4x0.7 holes 15mm on center. The Tanfoglios share the first and last holes with (4) on 10mm centers.
  5. Nik, read D4, 21.4:. "Replacement grip panels are allowed provided they do not extend below the butt of the gun to form a make-shift magwell." "See 22.2, below, for specifics with regard to modifications on revolver grips." I say it's legal.
  6. I wouldn't be interested, I've got my process really dialed in.
  7. Thanks again, yes I am using Chrono. What's the recommendation charge to start with? I am not lazy >< just try to learn from the beginning. Thanks If I were you I'd figure out what OAL will spin consistently free of your rifling (as you can see you're getting ~0.010" variation from your bullets/process), then load six rounds each at 7.0gr, 7.4gr, 7.8gr, and 8.2gr, chrono and draw a curve; within the useful range of the powder you can predictably extrapolate data in a, more or less, linear fashion. I would also give 115s a try, I personally prefer them to 124s.
  8. Whenever you shorten the OAL it's a good idea to drop the charge weight and work your way back up with a chrono, you are using a chrono, right? Setting the OAL for your particular barrel/bullet is the first step in developing a load, don't be lazy
  9. If you would have mentioned Production, we would have told you to get a dropped/offset Blade Tech and that none of Henning's parts are Production legal in IPSC if that's what you're shooting, are you in the US? Not giving any of the pertinent information, then getting indignant when you don't get the answers you want is not a good way to win friends and influence people
  10. Trades are a funny thing, is your Glock bone stock? Like new? If you're both going to get retail price for what you've got I guess it's fair. I would imagine someone might give him $1K for that package since SP01s aren't on many shelves and the work is already done with no wait, but for me personally I wouldn't pay more than I would for a Stock SP01 since I would redo all the work myself anyway To me, "professional trigger job" means quick and dirty, the low hanging fruit; because I do much more thorough trigger jobs on my guns, there's still work to be done, the same goes for the short reset disco: I'd bet it's the "drop-in" Type 2, but on SP01s I hand fit the Type 1. I would also change the sights, trigger, safeties, hammer spring plug, and mag release so to me it would be worth ~$700.
  11. I'd believe he has ~$1K into it, but you didn't mention his asking price. Value is a personal thing, I have lots of CZs and am very confident in them, so "like new" is not something I'm willing to pay hundreds of dollars for, if you're patient you can get a well-loved Shadow for ~$1K. If you want an SP01 right now, paying close to retail for one might be something you're willing to do.
  12. First, do your loaded rounds spin freely in the chamber? This is called the plunk test, if your loads don't spin free it's because the bullet is touching the rifling and you should shorten the OAL until they do spin freely. Second, what sort of feeding problems are you having? Which mags are you using? I've never gotten STI mags to feed 9mm 100% reliability without spacers.
  13. Thanks, the company has been great, luv CZ'S and Tanfos looking for new front and rear sights with pins , use to be you could see parts per type of CZ in my case I have 2 Tactical Sports, looking for, trigger return spring firing pin spring, wasn't sure on pounds on 9 or 40 ,just bought an upper 40 for one of my nines, need mag springs Stuart said theirs would work, same for ,40 and 9; Trigger pin, wide Thumb safety, keeping track when they get it in, my old wish list disappeared, have TS completely stripped doing usual grip reduction and making left safety smaller as it's a problem, new trigger, pin ,spring isTS is same as 75's for parts ?sorry Atlas l was very frustrated, pretty sure Stuart and crew think I'm a little confused,I know their real busy. Will 9 mags work for 40 I have 10 of them, or options for mags,Colo having a 15 limit for buying,See Mcgear mags and usual CZ,which are 17 or 10,thought there was a 12 or 14 somewhere.Trying to replace wear parts having 30,000 rounds thru one, Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk Holy punctuation Batman! Are you using voice to text? Most of the TS parts are different from the 75 parts, the firing pin/spring is the same as for the Shadow, 9 mags should work OK for 40, although capacity is limited.
  14. The website is new, but looks to be organized the same as the old one. If you get a broken link, let Stuart know, I'm sure someone will appreciate it. What is it you're looking for? Maybe I have it
  15. Pencil thin mustache, dreadlocks?
  16. Oh Russ, don't be so hard on yourself I saw your thread, read it and moved along because I have nothing to say. You tell me you bought a 10mm Limited Pro and want to know which holster to buy? Well that depends on what you want to do with it, nearly every holster on the market is best suited for some particular purpose. Henning upgrades? Again, to what end? The vast majority of the subject matter on this forum is USPSA related, the pistol you just bought has no home in USPSA, what do you expect?
  17. Wait, I thought there was already a guy at Norco with pink pouches shooting a Glock?!? Is that you?
  18. Does your CZ have a FO front sight? I'll bet due to the different grip angle you're presenting the pistol with the front sight high, covering the target with the dot and breaking the shot. Just an idea
  19. I've never seen a tutorial, but this is the area of the peanut the slide stop rubs as the slide goes home: If you're going to work on the peanut, I suggest you use fine sandpaper only so you don't remove too much metal; this area is critical to the lockup, take too much metal from here and your accuracy will be lost.
  20. Of what you listed I choose 115gr MG over HS6, 3N38 is a better powder for the CM, but costs twice a
  21. I prefer CZs to revolvers, but if the Smith is NIB, I imagine it's worth as much as double the value of the pre b depending on the condition of the CZ.
