Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. How does factory ammo compare? The stock recoil spring weight is 17 lb and is meant to be used with factory ammo. If you do change the recoil spring, that's all you HAVE to change. It isn't directly related to any other part on the gun. You will likely need the Gen 3 type captured spring. It has a removable end so you can change out the spring for a different weight. It should come with a little adapter washer plug for use in Gen4 guns. 14 pounds should be just fine. You may be able to go even lighter as long as it passes the gravity test (look it up, don't feel like explaining it atm). Recoil spring weight comes down to personal preference once you have gone light enough to make the gun function adequately. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  2. The stock trigger is heavy, but as a carry gun that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'd maybe put some night sights on it and call it a day.
  3. Is the ammo factory or reloaded? If reloaded what's the OAL?
  4. It's definitely more difficult to get a 9mm major open glock running smoothly, but I wouldn't say they "never work out" Shooting .40 eliminates the frustrations with having a hotter round than the gun is made for since a standard load for .40 makes major PF already. Do some searching on google and the forum around here, you'll find loads of articles and conversations about open glocks. There's even a kit that you can buy that comes with everything you need. I think it's like $550.
  5. App D4 21.3 If the frame is legal and the slide and barrel is the same length, contour, and caliber as the factory version for that frame, you are fine A better question is: if you put a 9mm barrel and slide on a .40 frame, technically you can't do that, but it is LITERALLY impossible to determine unless you are the government and know what serial number goes with what gun.

    Glock 34-35?

You're unclassified now right? You'll probably classify a little lower than if you were shooting major, but that's not a bad thing. When you switch to major your classification will likely go up. Until then, enjoy beating everyone in your class. You aren't sandbagging if you are trying your best. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    Glock 34-35?

Shoot limited minor for a while. Magwells, frame weights, mag extensions, holsters, etc will work with the 34 or 35 so you can switch whatever you already got over to the new gun when you get it. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    Glock 34-35?

Change to 40 mags too Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    Glock 34-35?

You can get away with using a 40 ejector for 9mm, but a 9mm ejector shooting 40 gets dangerously close to the primer when trying to eject a live round. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    Glock 34-35?

No, change the full upper (slide, barrel, extractor) and the ejector. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  11. Nope. I did have Can You Count though. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk Would much rather have shot that stage lol. Your close target is 6 feet away. Triple choice is at 25 feet with one target head box only. Anyway, how did it go! It pushed me to B which I'm woefully unready for. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

  13. No problem with that. It's comforting to know though that I can go over 500 rounds before even beginning to doubt its reliability.Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  14. It's the gun. Most reliable gun I have ever come across. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
  15. After 1000 my slide starts sticking when coming forward into battery. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
