  1. Seth, A & B, chuck it lightly, polish one end, then flip it and hit the other. You're welcome Scott
  2. But Grumpy, she just wanted to argue this other, unrelated point
  3. The hammer should drop in, the shorter hooks make for a lighter, shorter trigger pull and the Hunter frame is identical to the Limited except the finish.
  4. I've never seen one of these Gold Match pistols, but it just looks like a lightened Hunter slide on a Limited, pretty simple really.
  5. It appears those parts are the same as those which come on the Limited. The heart shaped hammer has shorter hooks than the factory hammer on the Hunter.
  6. I think the base pad is an EG product, the heart shaper hammer is a factory hammer, should drop right in.
  7. So Jax, how do the pistols compare? are they both full sized? holes? which comps? Inquiring minds want to know
  8. Has anyone used one of these: Briley 1911 Thumb Guard are they really drop in? do they work well?
  9. I shot the Stroker 6 with Mike over the weekend and I love it! If I ever get around to shooing Limited again, this will be the gun!!!
  10. If that were my Glock I'd shoot it until it locks up, then send it in.
  11. There are some +p+ loads from Buffalo Bore ~150 PF, but they're the wrong bullet and the wrong powder for what he do for 9 major.
  12. He designed is own comp, that speaks volumes
  13. Thanks for the tool Ctay I just got my first 38 just to see how the other side lives and I'm already tired of getting all OCD on finding my brass. I shoot an an indoor range where a small percentage of shooters reload so when I show up I scoop up a box full of fresh 9mm brass, then leave mine behind, so I effectively shoot once or twice fired brass all the time. With the 38 I walk in, clean up the area, shoot, then sweep up again and pick out my super brass....
  14. With no comp baffles, it's going to get pretty hard in the hand as you jack up the PF. I suggest you get the lightest bullet which will feed reliably, any of those slow powders listed above, load a wide range (130-160pf), shoot them in order of lightest to heaviest and stop when it becomes harsher than you'd like. I shot a quad ported CZ and this point came ~150 PF.
  15. The difficulty with shooting minor loads through an Open gun is getting enough gas volume to counter muzzle flip effectively. Less powder equals less gas.
  16. I skipped this one because I didn't want to sound boastful
  17. Fitting a CZ barrel is very simple, you just file two pads on the breech until it fits. It won't effect the other barrel.
  18. N105 3N38 N350 Autocomp HS6 Silhouette AA#7 CFE Pistol
  19. i just got a STI frame but i dont know what kind of cut it has. but im sure the gunsmith can do all that? but i bought a clark/para barrel. Im just buying the parts to get my custom built. You should probably be talking to the 'smith about these choices.
