  1. I think you'll need the 9mm slide and barrel, I doubt the extractor of a 45 slide would even touch the rim of a 9mm case.
  2. I said horizontal but I think you get what I mean. Email sharon@eaacomp.com and tell here you want this: I'll bet they have one.
  3. Frame is 0.999" wide, the four M4x0.7 holes are 10mm on center. My wide 2011 frame is 0.940" wide, so it's possible...
  4. Rob I agree that the feel can be changed with recoil springs, but intuition tells me a heavier spring would snap the front sight back on target faster.
  5. I'm not a Glock guy, but it would take some ingenuity.
  6. There are some 40 TSs out there with a lot of miles on them and I've never heard of accuracy degradation, I don't shoot mine enough to gather any data.
  7. I tested some but was too scared to load them with Clays so I used what I had on hand at the time (700X, Longshot and HS-6); the 700X was way over pressurized so it was downright nasty and the other two gave a pretty stout impulse. Now that I have some 10mm mags for my Tanfo I might try again loading over 1.2" with Clays, TG and Bullseye.
  8. I loves me some CLAYS Unfortunately I have less than a pound left though so when I get around to it I'm going to work up a load with Titegroup (11# is probably a lifetime supply at the rate I shoot anything but Open ).
  9. There's not a lot of meat to give. The fluted bull barrels Matt Cheely does have an OD of 0.685" whereas the TS barrel has an OD of 0.550" which I think is the skinniest .40 barrel around; even a 1911 bushing barrel is 0.575".
  10. hey, look at that: http://www.amazon.com/Machine-Finish-Phillips-M3-5-0-6-Threaded/dp/B00F33TNJS/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1415231885&sr=1-1
  11. Not sure when it is. Wasn't it originally scheduled for the 27th, but that's Thanksgiving? So I imagine they cancelled it. If they're still holding it on Thanksgiving, I might be able to sneak out...I'll have to remember to abstain during dinner! http://oceansidepistol.com/calendar/month.php?date=20141101 Handled
  12. No, grip screws are 3.5mm, and nearly impossible to find in a local store; somebody recently found some online in quantities of a few thousand though...
  13. All this to not adjust your seating die between pistols?
  14. I asked Leo the same thing and apparently Andrew rescheduled for 11/20, but hasn't changed the calendar yet. I think I'll post on the LDF forum and see what I can find out.
  15. Hey Ed, are you going to shoot USPSA at Iron Sights this month?
  16. If you're really handy you could cut back the slide and have the comp ride in the coffin cut like a sight tracker.
  17. Comp design: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=186687 Matt Cheely makes a short comp which people seem to like. The holes in the barrel provide additional down force to counter muzzle flip at the expense of velocity; endless hours have been spent debating Open gun design approaches
  18. http://www.uspsa.org/document_library/rules/2014/Feb%202014%20Handgun%20Rules.pdf Boom!
  19. I've never seen anyone shoot a 6" Open 2011. The longest 2011 Open gun I've seen is a 5" slide with a 5.4" barrel which is an inch shorter than what you're talking about. If you want to give it a try, have at it:) You might have a hard time finding a 6 1/2" barrel although you could have Tornado Tech add a threaded extension for you. With a good comp it should be really flat though.
  20. Ahhh just shoot it I've only used ball end mill bits and they poke through pretty clean.
  21. It sounds like what you want is a custom build
