  1. I have the Allchin on a 2011 and like it more than I expected, I'm thinking I'll put it on a few CZs/Tanfos
  2. I made the racker myself, the dovetail is ~0.3mm bigger than anything available.
  3. You could always get the Arredondo rest with no holes and drill the pattern. Are you using the horizontal mount or upright?
  4. There's some great info here: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=188576&page=1 50 yard comparisons on page three. Is it worth it? That's up to you, I have worked over some SP01s I think would hold up in a Pepsi challenge against 90% of Shadows out there.
  5. I must be lucky, I've been running 1.170" 9 though STI 38 mags w/o spacers without any apparent issues.
  6. What does your gun look like? barrel length? holes in the barrel? what weight bullets?
  7. There was a verbal agreement and he is not a man of his word. If he's breaking a verbal contract confront him with it, if you can't come to an agreement, leave and don't pay him. Have you done any research on renters' rights in your state? Most times the law stacks the deck heavily against the landlord. Men don't get in fist fights to settle disputes, they don't destroy the property of others, they have the courage to speak their mind, empathize and come to an agreement.
  8. I only use RN bullets in my CZs/Tanfos, HPs have a wide shoulder.
  9. The screw is M4x0.7, you should be able to get it at a hardware store
  10. I load 135s over ~3.5gr of Clays and it's very nice 147s are inconsistent with Clays. I'm running out of Clays, so I'm working on some loads with Solo1000 for bullets 124-165
  11. Since when does Phoenix Trinity make finished guns? Point taken, it was just the first thing I though of.
  12. PT could also be Phoenix Trinity so if you're going to slam someone on the forum, please be precise
  13. Not that I know of, but I'll trade you mine for a CZC one . The UB version looks cooler, but me hands are too big and my support hand pinkie hangs off the bottom.
  14. The CZ UB magwell works with the standard tubes:
  15. I started with SRP 'cause it's what everyone else does', then switched to SPP, have yet to see a primer fail, and my breech face looks like new
  16. Talk to Adam at Atlas Gunworks
  17. If you just want to dabble in Open a Limited in 9mm or 40 would be great with light loads and a cmore. Getting a Limited in 40 would serve you well if you decide to take the dot off and stick to Limited, but the 9mm Limited would be best if you eventually want to build it into a custom Open gun
  18. Can you easily remove the comp? If so try it without and see how it runs.
  19. I'm confused Do you want an Open gun? or just a Limited gun you can slap a dot on for steel?
  20. Don't be afraid to use an 8# spring with factory ammo, or even a 6# if it will consistently strip the next round, factory 115gr loads are not going to hurt anything. I used an 8# spring with 9 major guns over 170pf; you need drastically lower spring weights when using a comp because the comp holds the action locked for longer, dissipating more energy which would otherwise be used to cycle the slide. Edit to add: if you're not hand loading your own ammo, you might do better to skip the comp, do you still have a non comp'ed barrel?
  21. The slide is heavily lightened, 10.4oz complete, by comparison the factory Limited slide is 12.5oz. I haven't hit the chrono with these loads yet, but using an 8# spring they were very flat and snapped right back on target (albiet, harder in the hand than my 6").
