  1. At this point I think I'm using the camera to it's full potential and the editing is pretty decent, so I'm starting a fresh thread to share my videos. I shot the same load (9.3gr SP2 under a 115gr RN @ 1.165") through five guns today. I intend to chrono this load in each gun and will update with the power factor achieved by each setup. In the future I hope to compare guns with the same PF rather than the same load.
  2. I'm going to start a new thread with some videos I made today
  3. This was my first lightened slide, since then I've learned to take an even amount of weight front and rear:
  4. The factory FO front is bigger than the Dawson and you can get it from EAA for $45. You can also make a bigger dot by melting a bigger ball of fiber.
  5. Cameron, are you talking about having Jimmy drill side ports in your trubor comp? Before you do anything I suggest you try my two full sized 2011 9s.

The only case gauge worth using is the barrel of your gun.
  7. +P is a marketing ploy and is meaningless to those of use used to pushing the edge 9 major. Look at published specs for +P and +P+ factory ammo, anything over 150PF is pretty rare. I've been shooting 9mm loads 165-175PF and never cracked a slide or frame. The worst was wearing out the locking lug on a one lug compact barrel shooting 9 major.
  8. It started as a 4.75" Limited slide. I want to shoot it over a chrono, but the way the holes are spaced I could easily do another two: I had some WAC/115 loads I tried on Friday and the initial report is that it's awesome! I'm going to load some SP2/115 loads to film in slow mo next week.
  9. 357 SIG is 40 case necked down to 9mm so mag capacity is the same as 40.
  10. Latest and greatest Tanfo Open gun Chambered in 9mm, stroked by 0.200", (3) 5/32" holes angled back ten degrees from vertical, Cheely CMore mount, slide lightened by 1.7oz, overall weight of 43.5oz.
  11. Have any pictures of the guns? Load data?
  12. The first one I cut off at an angle and used, a CZC aluminum pad, but that was way too much work so the next one I'll just cut it off square and use a flat steel pad.
  13. If you want to really flatten out your load, switch the bullet to 95gr and increase the charge by a grain. I shot 10gr of SP2 under a 100gr pill through my 9mm V12 and it was pretty awesome
  14. Here's R.Elliott's fire breathing Tanfo loaded with over 12 grains of lil gun:
  15. This is the most impressive video I've seen and the dot still leaves the glass: https://youtu.be/arSD8glI4jU I don't know the full details of the gun but it's a 38 super with three hybrid holes shooting N105 under 121s.
  16. Before I figured out how to set up the camera I was filming at 80fps (standard video is 24fps) and the gun cycles in just a few frames. The reason the gun looks dead flat in full speed video is that the camera might only catch one or two frames of the muzzle rising and each frame only lasts 0.04 seconds.
  17. Full speed video is very deceiving, take a look at this video: That same gun at 240fps:
  18. The pre b is the longest reach, same as the 97b and the "old style" 85c.
  19. I don't know who this guy is , but his elbows seem to have a slight bend to them
