  1. I'm pretty sure the factory holes are 4mm, which is close to 5/32", I'm not sure I would go bigger than 3/16" in a 9mm. The nice thing about holes is you can always go back and drill more/bigger. The comp on the right started like yours, then I milled the last port bigger than stock which helped. You could do it in phases and check with the chrono each step.
  2. Same cone size, the Limited is a quarter inch longer and has a front sight dovetail. This one uses a Limited slide:
  3. You might also consider putting two holes at 12 o'clock through the comp instead of the four in a V. I find the straight up to be more efficient.
  4. I use the lightest springs for everything. That second barrel w/o holes is pretty useless to you as is, it's only provided so the pistol will function with factory ammo. If I were you I'd mill that second one into a two port V6 with bigger holes angled back 10 degrees.
  5. I understand what you're asking for, but reloaders on this forum are generally loading Autocomp far beyond book loads to make major or using a faster powder for minor. Superdude already gave you what you ask for here: It's a link to the Hodgdon reloading center and will give you current book loads for both 9mm and 38 super. If you're not using a compensated Open gun I do not suggest you use any of the load data posted above in this thread. Use the link, it's everything you ask for.
  6. They're marked in kilograms, for example the one marked kg 5,09 is 11.2 lbs
  7. Big boy my Tanfo uses a 9mm breech face which is smaller than the 38 one.
  8. I have a 38sc Tanfoglio which will choke to death on a rimmed super case, so I sure would like them separated if I were to buy it.
  9. That sounds promising, have you compared it to HS6 or 3N38?
  10. Small Rifle is the safe bet Has anyone here ever pierced a small pistol primer? I generally use CCI or Winchester so I can save my Federals for my Production guns with light springs, but I have shot major loads loaded with Federal SPPs before with no issues.
  11. Apologies Coleman, I should know better than to ask, but I've never been good with rules...
  12. Machining the comp?!? You can easily take off a few thousandths with sand paper.
  13. Of the powders you mentioned, HS6 is the one to use; I don't recommend using rifle primers for what you're doing since they can lead to breech face erosion and only hide to signs of high pressure. HS6 and SPP will get you there, just use a chrono and work up to where you want to be. Expect to wind up just over 7gr. I don't have any experience with the P07 chambers but I've gone as high as 7.7gr of HS6 in a CZ75. No a side note, are you expecting to encounter two legged predictors in light clothes while hunting? Even at 1,300 FPS a 124gr hollow point is not what I would choose to defend myself against dangerous game.
  14. Xtremes don't group that well outside 10yrs at major PF. If you want I'll sell you a sample pack of Montana Golds which will knock your socks off!
  15. I load 100gr Xtremes in 9mm at 1.077, that same chamber can take 115 Xtremes out to 1.189. What powder are you using? I've loaded 10gr of SP2 under a 100gr at 1.077".
  16. There's more taken from the rear than the front, so it's at least an ounce.
  17. Comp for sure, 9 major is no fuss.
  18. I shot both ways and find I get a more consistent grip without wrapping the finger around the trigger guard.
  19. Enough to keep me going a little while longer
