  1. $274.35 USD on sale direct for Shield. When shipping to USA there is no vat tax so the normal price is ~$359.
  2. Weaver Style Oval Head 6-48 X 3/8" http://r.ebay.com/si2Vha
  3. http://www.shieldpsd.com/portfolio-posts/reflex-mini-sight They had a Thanksgiving sale.
  4. Left: Romeo 3 Center: Shield RMS Right: Delta Point
  5. Just received Shield RMS dot after Thanksgiving sale. Bolts on my Sig X5 without any modifications. 8moa dot. Glass is better than anything I have seen other than Delta Point Pro. I have not shot outside with direct sunlight but it seems auto adjust goes bright enough. The dot is more of an orange color than the red of DPP. I bought the RMS for carry optics setup but I thought I would do some comparison pictures before mounting on sig. I knew that RMS would be smaller than DPP but I was surprised that the difference was not that big. The RMS sits soo much lower which I think is a benefit. The DPP shown below is the 4moa.

  7. Play around with AA7 and HS6 and try 115, 124 and 147 bullets.
  8. How do you think HS-6 and AA7 compare for dot movement?
  9. What do you guys think about pre processing brass with Mark7. I have read a few post about depriming, swage and sizing on the first pass thru the machine. Then the 2nd pass fully loads. A small commercial loading shop that uses 1050s recommended this 2 stage process but suggested priming on the first pass also.
  10. Are you running the factory 4 nozzles with 9 major or was it blank rib with traditional holes added by gun builder?
  11. I like the 155s. My favorite to reload.
  12. Another picture of DPP 2.5MOA and the RTS2 8MOA
  13. I saw a couple of ways to mount a Delta Point Pro on the X5 without adapter plate with minimal filing. File a little material off the slide or the optic.
  14. I am not 100% sure. I am assuming the regular P320 needs the curved trigger to stay consistent with factor shape and X5 needs flat to stay consistent.
  15. I am not 100% sure what you are referring to but here is the rule for carry optics. "Grip modifications such as, but not limited to, undercutting/smoothing the trigger guard, adding or removing finger grooves, or adding stippling, grip tape, or checkering are specifically allowed, without reference to Appendix E4."
  16. Here is my video of a 12lbs vs 14lbs recoil spring. The 12 feels better. I did not try anything lighter yet. 147gn Atlanta Arms (PF unknown)
  17. Here are a few pics of my build. Grip by Alma I have tungsten guide rod, base plate and optic mount from Springer. CELTS trigger by Greyguns RHT holster So far I am very impressed with this gun.
  18. Best advice is to ditch the upright cmore for 9mm with random brass. If you don't want to do that you may consider buying once fired sorted brass and stick with the same brand and then tune the ejector.
  19. I have both the DPP 2.5MOA and the RTS2 8MOA and they are actually very similar dot size. The DPP was very expensive but now is a similar price to RTS2. I still talk to people who think DPP is too expensive to consider. The RTS2 has a better way to adjust brightness but the DPP is better for me in every other way. DPP has much better glass, zeroing adjustments and battery design. Ideally, both sights could have lower profile base but after a little dry fire, it does not really matter.
  20. You're assuming that RTS2 is different than the Nikko. They maybe the same design with different labels.
  21. Is any company working on a tungsten replacement grip weight?
  22. 32x24mm window. That part sounds good.
  23. I found AA7 is slower than 3n38. AA7 is also much cheaper than 3n38. I can't comment on if either is dirty but they probably are not worse than HS6. The other nice thing about AA7 is that it is very dense compared to 3n38. Thus, AA7 does not fill the case up nearly as fast as 3n38. You can get a lot more grains of powder before compressing with AA7. Full-length barrel with 3 small holes. 9 major Berry 147 RN - 6.49gn HS6 - 1.200" - 9mm WIN - 1179.3fps -173.4PF Berry 147 RN - 7.2gn 3n38 - 1.230" - 9mm WIN - 1172.7fps -172.4PF Berry 147 RN - 8.02gn AA7 - 1.230" - 9mm WIN - 1174fps -172.6PF Start low and work up with Chrono. These are loaded long so FPS will change with shorter length.
