What kind of heavy metal loads are you guys using?

I use to, but had cases rupture on me. I wanna say I was at 3.7 gr I use clays strictly for 45acp.

Good enuff for the girls i go with!

Try the istrelok app it will give you the sight picture of the reticle with any combo of bullets at any velocity.

When I use lube like Hornady one shot I usually get a stuck case especially when it's .mil brass. Never had a stuck case when I started using imperial sizing die wax!!!

You can run the loaded ammo through a lee crimp die or pull the bullets and resize the cases than reload with the pulled bullets. Just be cautious when doing stuff like this. Been doing stuff like this for years with no problems.

If you check the cartridge spec's 1.738 is the absolute minimum case length, anything shorter than 1.740 I chop up for 300 blk.

You can use 300 blk for International multigun association (IMA) as long as you can make PF 320 in heavy metal division.

If you are gonna shoot subsonic 233 try starting out around 5.0gr of powder and cream of wheat as a filler. Be cautious.

X-Terminator and AA2230 are the same powder. WildBoar and AA2520 are the same powder. well at least the load data is identical.

If you just want to save $$$$ you can make wax slugs out of bird shot, or dump out the bird shot and replace it with buckshot or lead slugs. There is a ton of vids on YouTube even how to reload shotgun shells with out a press.

If you use a lightened firing pin (or titanium) with a light firing pin spring in a glock it won't ignite s.r.p. 100%

i have always used small rifle primers for 9mm minor, 40sw, 38super for 15yrs never had any issues, never even considered using small pistol primers.

I have a lunch bag (like a cooler) its soft from wal-mart for like $10 bucks. And you can also take it to work an it keeps your lunch cold for hours when you put the blue cold things in it!

I ve done this with 55gr and 75gr Hornady bullets. Used in 18 in barrel Loaded the 55gr to 24.1gr of TAC oal 2.260 Loaded the 75gr to 24.2gr of TAC oal 2.260 Range.
