  1. First match I ever shot 2 years ago was a all classifier match. A week before the match I went to buy a gun, and was going to get a Para GI Expert, but the salesman talked me into a XDM 45acp (wish it was a 40cal) I was sure glad he did because at that time they had a special going. If you sent in your receipt they sent you 2 extra mags, and another mag holder so I was set up right off the bat ready for USPSA. So I shot the classifier match, and signed up for USPSA that same night, and the rest is history. This is the most addictive sport I have ever competed in. I expected everyone to be stuck up asses, and man was I wrong. I have met some of the best people I have ever met, and made some real good friends also!
  2. Boondock Saints shooting the fighting! One if the best movies if all time. IMHO When they accidentally shoot the cat is bad ass especially if you slow mo it!!
  3. I have a Thumler's and it is about 30 years old and still works great!! I Mostly use stainless steel media in it, but the other day I put some Walnut media in it to see how it would work, and it worked out just fine, not as good as the SS but still good. The only thing I have had to replace was the little rubber belt that drives the motor.
  4. When I first got my STI all I had was some ammo I loaded for my Glock at 1.135 and it shot it all day long with no problems. After I shot all of that up I started loading 1.175 and they ran fine to.
  5. I got a gun off this site also, and is is one of the most Accurate STI I have ever shot, and the round count Specified by the seller was also accurate!!
  6. WOW I changed holsters worked on my grip, slowing down and trigger prep, and holly crap what a improvement!! I did not have a mike until last stage. I shot 100% better today than I have since I have had this gun. Thanks everyone for your tips and advice. I think if I work on all these fundamentals I should improve every match.
  7. Thanks guys I will work on the grip and trigger prep and see how that works at the match tomorrow. I will update you tomorrow.
  8. I went from a Glock 24 to a 6" STI, and I am having a hard time getting use to this new platform. At matches it seems I can't hit crap, but after the match I will go check my zero, and see where I am hitting, and it is DEAD ON. I mean from 10 to 35 yards it is hitting bullseye every time. Has anyone else ever had this trouble or am I just a retard? It is kind of worrying me because this is the gun I am going to shoot Area 4 with, and this is just one more thing that is going to play head games with me. Any advise?
  9. Try out Triple Crown holsters he is a fellow shooter, and his work it top notch! He can make it any way you want, offset, or with any belt system you want, Etc. http://www.crown3x.com/
  10. Pantera Far Beyond Driven!!! Best shooting music EVER!!
  11. I had this problem with my Glock, and I know it's not a STI, but when we stippled and narrowed the grip it got to hot and the mags would not drop. I am not saying that is what your problem is, but you might want to look at it. We stuck some grip tape on one side of the mag then inserted it into the gun about 10 or 15 times then did the other side the same, and it made it a lot better. Good luck
  12. Can't wait!!! I am pumped, and can't wait to woop up on Brandon, and Pinto.
  13. That looks great!! Wonder if you could do this to a Aluminum STI grip? What other colors did you like?
  14. I have always shot XD's or Glocks, and just now got a STI. I will be shooting my second match with it this weekend, and I am having real trouble with the draw and thumb safety. I guess a lot of dry fire practice will help.. I hope??
  15. I totally agree i should have specified. I just got a new STI and I am amazed how good the trigger is, but all I was saying is it was the only thing close I have ever felt in a polymer frame gun, and Springer Precision does a great job.
  16. How should you react to the shooters that unload, show clear, and holster before you can even get if you are finished out of your mouth? I have noticed that most of the time it is the more experienced shooters doing this. Sent from Feegee's iPhone using Tapatalk
