  1. The good thing about them is there adjustable, but you have to take it all apart to adjust it. I shot a couple matches with mine, and Area 4, never had any problems. I do like the feel over the curved that I had for a couple years. I shot the STI gunsmith blank in my limited set up, and was wanting that feeling again. It’s German steel so supposedly it makes the trigger bow stronger.
  2. I got the long flat trigger from Atlas, and it’s awesome
  3. I have used BBI for years. Can’t beat them!
  4. Why would you even dremel the comp in the first place? What were you trying to accomplish?
  5. Wow. That pretty short, but I bet you never have any problems running that. How much powder do you use? Also with my CZ and my DVC not only was it not throated enough it didn’t like certain bullet profiles. I opened the STI up because I did not want to only be able to shoot certain Bullets. I wanted to have a choice. Most open shooters run a length of 1.160 to 1.170, but in a CZ its a different story. I found it was 1.135 to 1.145 at the most.
  6. When I had that problem with mine it was because my loads were to long. I could only run them at 1.140 reliably. I had to get a 9mm throat reamer to get it to not want to hold onto the rounds when ejecting them, or running them a little longer.
  7. Your CZ lets you run them that long?
  8. I got a 9mm DVC and it runs great after I replaced the ejector and extractor because the metal they were made of turned out to be to soft and they would both bend. Seen it happen to two friends of mine also.
  9. Try another load and see if it still does it. Never know may help.
  10. BBI is all I run on my open guns and the are great!
  11. I spray some One Shot in the comp before a match, and it works great.
  12. Man that's looks bad ass! Have any video of it in action? I would like to see how it moves.
  13. This has happened to me and a friend. Called STI and they said they had some problems with some of the ejectors not getting properly hardened. What blows my mind is that we got our guns 6 months apart and both had the problem. WTF??? Throw those shitty ones away and put a new batch of ejectors in the guns.
  14. I shoot the 115 and 125 grain BBI in my open gun for 2 years now and they are super accurate and leave nothing in the comp. I know your not asking about open loads but I am just saying BBI is a very good bullet. Lot better than Xtreme.
  15. Heck yea! Just adjusting to 175pf really helped the dot.
  16. Shot a match last night and won [emoji48] The gun ran great. Now I need to do try some different loads and get some data and try the 170 to 175pf. I am looking forward to the 175 that some has said its the way to go! Here is a quick video at 171pf https://vimeo.com/180682916
  17. I have not pushed it to 175 yet but will do it this week for sure. What grain bullet, and amount of powder?
  18. It only happened one time with a new STI mag. The other 400 something shot fine with the MBX. My main question and concern is with the firing pin?
  19. 7.3gr of XP-100 125 gr BBI CCI small rifle primers OAL 1.165 PF 170 Will have a bunch more soon. Will be doing some load development over the next two weeks and will keep you up to date. Also will do quick some slow motion vids if you want.
  20. Got it last Tuesday. Shot about 400 rounds out of it total now, and the only problem was one case hit the scope mount and got stuck, and that only happened with one of the new STI mags that it came with. When I got my Matchmaster a while back it would run fine with the MBX mags, but as soon as I put one of the STI mags in the gun it would have the failure to extract issue. I guess they need to be tuned. I also noticed a keyhole pattern on the primers, and it looks like the firing pin is protruding out of the breach face a little bit. So I had a extra brand new STI titanium firing pin that I keep in my emergency kit. I looked at them side by side, and the look totally different. I put the extra one I had in the gun and it did not like it at all!! Would not set off some primers, and also slide would not go into battery sometimes put the one that come with the gun back in and shot another 120 rounds and not one problem ran like a champ. I don't know if they are using a new type or not? I am going to call them Monday and ask. I will post pics of them side by side later.
  21. All guns have there problems. Humans are building them, so there are going to be mistakes
