  1. I have a gen 4 g26 and it shoots very well. The reduced backstrap fits my hand much better than the gen3 models. No functional issues at all, it runs perfect on any diet from minor pf and hot box ammo
  2. Small rifle in an AR no problem at all Small pistol with my STI Eagle not a problem either, that is with a stock mainspring though Small pistol in a Glock 34, 17 & 19 no problems with a striker spring down to 4.5#. 4# striker in my 34 gave me issues with 1 or 2 in every couple hundred. I've used them exclusively for the last few months and will continue to use them.
  3. That may be considered a replacement barrel not of "factory configuration" but I don't know if Glock offers a threaded barrel or not, I'd bet you would get some grief for it. My 34 is pretty snug in the box so you should try it to make sure it fits I'm thinking it may not, that one was pretty much built to fit in in there and I know a 17L won't.
  4. I have a newer Gen4 17 and a RMR on the way that I'd like to melt into it. i'd rather find an aftermarket or another slide to cut into so I have the original to keep just in case. Anyone know of where to get one or if they are even available?
  5. Same here w/ Zero HPs, best load Iv'e found yet out of a 19, 17 and 34
  6. Very minimal difference IMHO. You can get a similar feel from just buffing and rounding the chamfer on your stock plunger then replacing with a lighter spring. You may have already done this as part of your $0.25 though.
  7. wish I had this problem right now, Tula primers are coming right out of the box nowadays
  8. Last I checked glockstore had them (earlier today)
  9. 3.2 grains of Titegroup w/ Zero 147 JHP gives me 130-135 PF @ 1.10 OAL. Pretty soft as well
  10. This is what I did and it was a piece of cake, I may have had different screws though Best of luck
  11. WST for minor WSF for major, the least amount of smoke I have been able to work up with Precision or Bayou in .40 and both feel nice.
  12. I have them on my 19, great carry sight, less than optimal for competition. The dot is Very Very BIG, like obscure the entire zero zone big. Accurate shots at distance will be more challenging but you will certainly be able to pick up the front sight quickly. Check out Ameriglow pro glow, I am pretty sure it is the same sight, sure seems like it for my Glock anyway. You can just get just the front and maybe save a few bucks. http://www.ameriglo.net/catalog/sights/pistol-sights/smith-wesson/night-sights/front-sights
  13. Thanks for the replies gentlemen, my primary concern was that of the smaller bullet diameter.
  14. I should have mentioned, the Zero JHPs I have are .355
  15. I am getting my first "modern" revolver in the flavor of a .38 S&W 642. Would it be a really bad idea to reload for it using some of the 147gr Zero JHP's I have for my 9mm comp. loads? Forgive me if this is a dumb question J.
  16. Can't comment on the difference but I just put 500+ through from the batch I received a couple weeks ago and my barrel is as clean as a whistle. Remarkably cleaner than what I experienced w/ the precision 185s I had been using.
  17. A while back I bought some "Glock" assembly lube off EBay, it looked very similar to the factory copper lube that comes on Glocks from the factory and surprisingly just like copper anti-sieze compound. Long story short I've run it on my JM 930 Mossberg since I got it and it seems to work quite well and stays put. This might be a horrible idea but has anyone hear of using anti-sieze as a lube before?
  18. Try 3.1 gr of WST, it will get you right around 130PF and does well w/ lead

    ESP question

Nothing specific in the rule book against it that I can find, under allowable is "cosmetic stippling / serrating" so I'd suspect it would be ok. Worse case is its easily removable if you run into an SO that takes issue with it
  20. Good info, I have my first batch of Bayous on the way from Donnie now.
  21. Solid advice, I still haven't got totally comfortable with the platform switch from Glock to 2011
  22. I have had a Universal Clays load that was too small to actually ignite causing a 185 gr moly squib and a mess of unburnt powder flakes in the chanber
