  1. Last I read they pushed the registration back to Feb 2nd. Gotta link? I need to get signed up asap then. Edit for Ken N's response. https://www.facebook.com/HardAsHellMultigun?fref=pb&hc_location=profile_browser
  2. Post the video to YouTube and then copy the url into your post. Then the forum does some kind of magic and it shows up as an embedded video... Hope that helps, but I'm not very good at the internet. Thanks I tried to post from photobucket message said that URL code was not permitted.
  3. Well I received some advise from some people I highly respect and the cure is "bend the barrel". They told me to use a 2x4 about 3 feet tall standing on end on concrete. You bump the barrel on the side where you want the poi to move to. So POI right bump left side. POI high bump the bottom of the barrel. Bump and check each time. I may do it this week.
  4. I love how soft my VM shoots but at 50 yards on an IDPA style target I have to AIM low left completely off the paper to get a hit on the paper. All my shots are high and right. Birdshot too but not as dramatic. I'm afraid Remington will refuse to try and fix it since it's been massaged for 3 gun. I don't know who to send it to or if it's fixable. It groups well though.
  5. Also when I purchased my Razor 5x20 the guy asked me where I heard about CameraLand? I told him AR15.COM I got an extra 10% off. That paid for rings and shipping. I bought my 1x6 from Rainier Arms. Which reminds me my switchview is still on back order.
  6. Very cool. Looks like plenty of forcing right handers to shoot left.
  7. I'm shooting 125gr Blue Bullets over Titegroup. No more smoke than shooting jacketed. Where are you guys finding Titegroup? I have less than a pound left. I either need more or a better alternative. Thought of trying 700X which I bought to load .38 spl
  8. The way Zack does it doesn't take more than a minute or two with the tarp at your 4 o'clock. Grabbing your brass off the tarp takes less time than that. Picking it out of the dirt or grass, now that takes time. I like the tarp. I hate shooting a match and leaving my brass because everyone is in a rush to hurry up and shoot and get to the next stage. Most everyone at My club will help paste and police brass. A match I shot in Utah. No one was picking up brass. I tried to get mine or as much as possible. To make it worse some guy from the squad behind us kept showing up when we were about half finished and scooping up our brass. Very unsportsmanlike in my opinion. I've only shot a couple of big matches (200+ shooters) and I'm amazed no one picks up brass.
  9. Dang, I just bought a JP stainless low mass BCG a month ago. As if I needed an excuse for another build.
  10. This. Also having never been to South River I'd like to know do I need my tactical-stroller to get between stages with my gear?
  11. Maybe your mag spring is weak. I experienced this with my VM. Seems I had cut my mag tube spring too short. So the last few rounds in the tube just didn't pop out on the carrier with any authority. It was intermittent which confused me further. New mag spring cut longer solved it.
  12. In my limited 3 gun experience, seems a healthy sprint usually preceeds a series of long range shots. So, some rifle weight will help dampen the gasping and heaving from me trying to catch my breath and steady my shot at the same time.
  13. Since I acquired a TTI M2 which puts slugs right on POA without the need for a rear blade sight, my Versa Max is going back to Remington. The VM has never shot or patterned like it should, it's always high and right. Slugs, buck, birdshot all the same. I even had a blade sight dovetailed into the vent rib. It has to be pushed so far left to get center hits it's barely in the dovetail. I even dropped the money on a new barrel , no change. Which is really sad because it's a really soft shooting gun. It's been a huge disappointment.
  14. I have a Forster Ultra Micrometer seating die on order for just this reason. Seems everything I've read points to concentricity being a huge factor in load consistency.
  15. Thanks guys... The only light weight item in my rifle the JP low mass BCG. That was just to reduce reciprocating mass. My rifle overall is a bit on the heavy side. Rainier Arms billet match upper and lower receiver, Magpul UBR stock and a WOA 16 inch Stainless barrel. Also the Vortex Razor 1x6 scope is pretty hefty. All that adds up to a pretty heavy rifle, combined with the tuning of the gas and buffer spring it should have very little felt recoil. I can't test drive it again till next Monday or Tuesday to be sure.
  16. I'm in the process of "tuning" my rifle. Tell me, am I going about this correctly? I have a Syrac GenII adjustable gas block. JP SCS and spring kit with a JP Low mass BCG. Oh, and a Miculek brake. I've so far only adjusted the gas block with the stock SCS spring so it will lock back on the empty mag with my 55 gr reloads. Then verified it would do the same with my 77 gr reloads. Recoil doesnt seem dramaticly different than running a standard full auto BCG. Maybe a bit less. My plan, along with trying to optimize the powder load on my reloads is to use the lightest spring in the JP kit for the SCS and dial down the gas again to just lock back on an empty mag and verify its not battering the rifle on my long range loads. I'm not shooting low velocity reloads. They are about in the middle of the load data I'm using. It doesn't make sense to me to load light and have to open the gas block full to get the action to cycle. I'd think having plenty of gas to cycle the action then bleeding excess gas off would result in less felt recoil. I understand that a light load will have even less felt recoil but I want the flexiblility and reliability to shoot heavier bullets for long range shots and plinker 55 gr stuff for close range.
  17. I stand corrected. I obviously don't understand the definition of "machined' as it relates to this rule. Or the significance of this rule if the pistol came from the factory in this configuration.
  18. I'm not sure you're reading that correctly. I believe it means you may not machine the slide to install a different type sight. My Glock has a dovetail machined in the slide from the factory for the rear sight replacement. If I were to put a Novak front and rear sight set on it, that would require a new dovetail to be cut to the correct Novak angle. That is prohibited. I see no reason your CZ P01 would not be allowed in SSP.
  19. Holiday Inn Express in Apex is sold out. I booked Comfort Inn.
