Does anyone know if the Hogue over molded forend for the Win 1300 will fit a Win 1200? Also what is the LOP of the Hogue stock set ? They do not list a 12" short LOP in Ghille Green. Just the standard length, what ever that is. No info on their site.

Great info guys. I'm semi-auto shopping. Currently using a Winchester 1200 pump purchased for the low, low price of $120. I bought it to canabalize it for parts for my 1300 and its so much smoother I love shooting it despite the long barrel. I'm curious how the Stoeger will hold up to 3 gun abuse or should I just save my pennies and get the M2 I've been dreaming about?

I'm a right eye dominant so I grew up shooting from my right shoulder. But I'm left handed, everything else like writing, throwing a ball, etc is done left handed. So I reload mags, or shotshells with my left hand. So technically I'm strong hand reloading with my left hand. It would feel awkward changing mags on my M1A with my right hand.

I tried loading a new shot cup and hot glueing shot into some spent hulls with mixed results. I don't currently own a shotshell reload set up so the recrimping the dummys was not too pretty and the ends of the shells were inconsistant. I have 4 Azooms which are working for now.

I thought I might ressurect this thread. I recently shot my first 3 Gun and I'm hooked. I shot HM and used my Win 1300 defender 18 inch cylinder bore barrel with a +2 extension allowing me to load 9 in the magazine. Two days before the match I broke the ejector spring. (Long story of Stupidity on my part) Anyway, there's no way I can get a replacement spring before the match. So, I found a Winchester 1200 at a local pawn shop and paid $120. I canabalized the spring and shot the match. The cylinder bore 18 inch barrel did well. Now I have a light weight Win 1200 with a 28" barrel and WinChoke and it is a fast smooth cycling pump. My 1300 is smooth but not a slick as the 1200 and I can't change chokes. So my plan is to put an mag tube extension on the 1200 so I can get 9 in the mag and buy a couple of different chokes. The 1200 comes with full choke. I'm looking at Briley IC and Cylinder for now.

I was the only HM shooter. It was a great time. I threatened to change my division the week before because I knew It would be a struggle for me to get hits at 200yds with iron sights, but was told there was at least one other HM shooter, so I stuck with it. Next match, hopefully soon, I'm either shooting Tactical or HM Tactical. My eyes are just not good enough to get hits at that distance without optics. That one stage sank me. I was all good fun anyway.
