I have a PT aluminum grip and several of the MS housings I tried it was difficult to get the pin in. Also, the contour of even the flat MS housing did not match the contour of the grip. But the Dawson flat steel "small hands" housing was a perfect contour fit. The pi took a little work though.

Dawson and TTI. I tried both and do not really prefer one over the other. What I do prefer is malfunction free magazines. The good ones get put in the range bag. The bad ones get left at home. some are "fixable' and some are not. I have not found a difference in capacity between the two bases in my magazines.

My 14 magazines have different combinations of springs and followers, but some hold 20 (very tight), four hold 20 (easily reloadable) and a few hold 19. I have mixed and matched Taran followers and springs, Grams, Dawson, stock etc. and the ones that hold 19 will still hold only 19. the same with the ones that hold 20. There is one I can get 21 in, but it can only be loaded with the slide locked to the rear. I have measured and examined and still cannot tell why some hold more than others.

I use my DAA magnet as a holder for a paint spray can at steel matches. Of course during normal USPSA matches I have gotten stuck on the Texas Star.

I haven't bought any in about 10 years because I got a crap load at a great price. But, the supply is getting low and this thread interest me, and the possibly diminished performance.

Down south we tend to fry a turkey rather than stuff it. We make the "dressing" separate. We tend to use a Cajun Injector and fry the bird in peanut oil. There are lots of good flavors.

I have a PT aluminum grip on an STI framed pistol I got from Akai. It fit very snug, but did not require any fitting, only light tapping with plastic hammer. Now the Dawson magwell pin was "very" tight.

How, how, how, how! Semper fine!

What a great match. The weather was perfect, the stages were "interesting" and the staff was excellent. A big thank you for all of you guys that worked the match, as usual it was a hoot. the only thing I missed from previous matches was the gators on the no-shoots. Again, thanks to all.

What is easier to drive fast? sprint cars, NASCAR, Indy cars formula 1? Fast is a relative term. I am a C class shooter and a friend that is A class beats the crap out of me. but, he beat the crap out of me when he shot Production with an A classification. We all know why, it is because he is a much better shooter. He is way faster and way more accurate. I surmise he would probably kick my but with me shooting my Limited gun and him shooting a single stack. I have more time shooting a revolver, so I may be able to beat him for a week or so, but then he would be back to kicking the crap out of me.

I had a bull barrel fitted when my Eagle slide cracked. I don't know if it would make a difference to a GM, but to me as a mid-level C, I really like it.

Like several guys mentioned previously, I use photographs every time I do a re-assembly. When I don't I sometimes end up with just what your photo showed.
