  1. Steve RA

    What is it?

And the circle rolls on !
  2. Interesting article, very informative.
  3. True, thought the original post was about small parts which the average person probably would not recognize.
  4. You can always get an individual to ship to you.
  5. Very informative, thanks for going to the trouble of posting all the above !
  6. I don't really see anything wrong with the washing machine, but, I personally would not do it with clothes
  7. I run SRP in 9mm, .45 ACP (small primer cases) and .223/5.56. Only have to stock one primer for all.
  8. Yes, or for that matter, in a .355, .356 or .357.
  9. Precision has one that works well for me: https://precisionbullets.com/product/38-125-fp/ Buy the least amount you can and give them a try. I use Australian Clays - 3.2 gr - (which you can't get anymore) and no leading and very little smoke, more on really humid days.
  10. Looks very nice with your mods. Also waiting for accuracy results.
  11. Couldn't find any pricing on the web site, how much is the DVC-169 ???
  12. If it works for your friend it will probably work the same for you.
  13. I use Clays (Australian) in 9mm and .45 ACP. Very clean in both - can make Minor/Major in .45 - only minor in 9mm with 200gr bullets in .45 and 125/130 in 9mm. Also use Tula SRMP primers which may also help clean burning. Unfortunately, you cannot get Australian Clays or Tula primers presently, so unless you have them the information isn't very helpful.
  14. I've had good luck with an FF3 on a .45. But, I may just have been lucky with this particular one.
  15. The measurements are probably taken in the center of the lens, look like it would have less total glass area since it appears to be curved top and bottom instead of rectangular. Bottom may be smaller and that would be easier to deal with than the Holosun base dimensions. Let us know your comparison after you get it running.
  16. Here is a picture of the FF3 on my 1911:
  17. Sorry for your loss also !
  18. Save it all, along with fired primers and sell at the local scrap yard.
  19. You could get another U die and use it in the press instead of the Dillon. Also you could try the new one in your push thru setup and see if anything turns out different with the new die. Lee dies are usually correct - dimension wise - but I'm sure a non-spec one could slip thru every once and awhile.
  20. You might try the Precision 125gr FP @ .358. I use them and they work really well. I had the barrel lede throated and load them to 1.164" with 3.2 of Australian Clays with Tula SRMP and they make around 130 PF. https://precisionbullets.com/product/38-125-fp/
