Starting to load 223 on a 1050 and would like to use a mr bullet feeder and the powder check. I was told that someone makes a bullet seating and crimp die in one. Any ideas? Any draw backs? Thanks Jeff

Mmm I wanna buy a bullet feeder for 223 but am not a fan of giving up the powder check. Only real solution is to weight each round . jmorris I don't know of a die that will seat a bullet and crimp in one. Does such a die exist? J

Wondering what loaders are doing on a 1050 in 223 loading with a Mr Bullet feeder in regards to checking for a correct powder charge? Is everyone weighting every single round to see any variance. This method seems so slow. Thanks much Jeff

I head to the dawson website and pick up one of their tuned guns. Great place to start. Also head to the classifieds and put up a WTB add. My guess is their is some great used 2011's floating around. Don't forget you will need some money for mags. STI mags are not cheap! Hope this helps. Edge is a great gun. J

Never heard of making major with N320?? How many grains, COL, bullet? My bad meant to say for 9 minor and 40 major. J

N320 for both major and minor although its expensive and I will be trying something else when I am done with the 31ibs that I have. J

I have messed with mine and even sent it back to dillon for adjustment and it also flips one or 2 per 100-300 primers. I just assumed that was the price of admission for not going crazy picking up primers in a tube. If I had to do that I think I would kill myself with one of my reloads. J

Did you think about doing it in carbon fiber to keep the weight down? J Still love that case but wow does it get heavy fast!

I would agree. I love my heavy full steel sight tracker for a comp gun but carry plastic. J

Els fork is kinda small and may not support a heavy gun. I drilled my belt and used a QLS with my bladetech holster.
