Does the thumb button interfer with a normal draw if you don't have the hood engaged? Did you have to change your draw to get used to this holster vs a normal dropped and offset holster? Thanks Jeff

Plated are definitely different than straight lead. My suggestion is to get both extreme bullets and zeros and see which your gun likes most or if there are no difference go with the extreme as they are cheaper and you can get them just about any time of the year. I have been shooting zeros for the last couple of years and have since switched to extreme just cause I can get them when I need them. Zeros are great bullets but they are hard, hard, hard to find. Hope that helps. J

ELS plates are smaller and are for accessories such as mag pouches, shot shell caddies etc. I have a blade tech holster attached with a QLS plate. Much bigger and beefier than the ELS plates. I did have to drill my safariland belt in order to get the QLS plate to fit. Most items that can be ted loc bolted can be ELS attached. Just have to make a trip to the hardware store for various nuts and bolts. Hope this helps. J
