  1. 11 was to light for me. I could run with gun and feel the slide moving just from swinging gun around. I use a 13# shooting 115gr. Don't think I have changed striker spring.
  2. +1 for carbon arms. Great products and good guys who shoot 3 gun.
  3. Wow some of u guys must spend a lot of time reloading! I don't have as much time as I would like just to shoot. Brass gets separated bulk style them cleaned and into the press. Case gauge only for big matches.
  4. That was spot on and made my day
  5. Tried 11# spring, gun could cone our of battery with movement and settled on 13# as the magic #. I also gave the SSS guide rod. Gun seems flatter than stock, but not by much ie might be more in my head. Weight is very close to going over restriction so UT might be gun specific if yours makes weight or not.
  6. My M2 is currently in his hands for sights. Left a message with Jeff and be called ne back same day. Answered all my ?'s as well. He came highly recommended by several top 3 gun guys from my area.
  7. Is the razor 1-6 avalible now? Website says that it will be out fall of 2012.
  8. Great write up! Has anyone taken a look at the safety and how easy it would be to disable?
  9. Check out ables ammo for slugs.

Anyone? Still waiting on a personal review, please .
  11. Wondering if the thumb safety can be taken off? This is the only thing that would keep me from getting one.
  12. Matt I luv what u did milling that sight tracker. Getting excited to get mine. Should be any day.
  13. I went with the heavy barrel. Don't bother, I wish I would have gone lighter. Gun tracks soooooo slow. Med contour is a good compromise.
  14. I have a jp currently and just purchased a carbon arms. I wanna get my gun lighter. Both hand guards are very nice. Jp does allow u to add accessory rails where needed. Just some thoughts.

Ok its settled! DoubleL is gonna purchase a protek and give us all a range report. That way I can feel better about my own indecisive mind
  17. Gun magnets under the bed which hold a pistol grip shotgun and another magnet that holds a pistol on the side. Both out of sight out of mind until I need them.

Bump. Anyone who owns a pro tek cz custom have a review?
  19. Just checked out the specs, looks nice. What's the street price? I need to replace my old non video capable dslr.
  20. Pjb45 thanks for a good idea. I am gonna send all my mags, which include 4 new sti's and 4 old svi's, to Matt C so that he can make any modifications to the mag catch hole as needed.
  21. Thanks guys, I will bite the bullet and get an SVI grip!
  22. STI has redesigned their aluminum grip, they just aren't available yet. I have a couple of the first generation STI aluminum grips and haven't had any problems...yet. The knock on aluminum is that it work hardens and becomes brittle...which is why you get cracking. This is likely to occur in any aluminum grip framed gun at some point...doesn't mean it has to but it most likely will eventually. IMO, If you can afford the extra $, get the SVI steel...you will not be disapointed. I am a little worried about the weight of a steel grip and how that will affect the balance of the gun. I am not a big dude and a little concerned about driving a heavy gun. Any thoughts from those who have SVI steel grips?
