  1. Rowdy I'll be shooting with you in Squad 45. Running SSR/SS and will gladly provide the comic relief.
  2. Are any extentions needed for your magz if you use magwell? Do factory magz fit with your magwell? Factory mags with no extensions. They fit flush with the magwell and the front of that particular magwell has a cut out in front so you can strip a stuck mag.
  3. I'm using a XDm45 5.25 with a Pistol Gear Patriot Magwell and it fits the box with a little room to spare. You should be good to go. BTW; you're gonna love that gun.
  4. ETexPops - Shooters Connection doesn't list a Blade Tech DOH holster for the Xdm 5.25, unless I'm missing something. Did you get the DOH for the 5" XD? Looking to put together the right gear for shooting production with a 9mm XDm 5.25. Thanks in advance. Sure they do; DOH for Springfield XD. Scroll down the gun selection and you will see XDm 5.25. Shooter Connection XD DOH
  5. I just got a Blade Tech DOH for the 5.25 XDm and it works great for both my Limited gun (XDm40) and without the offset for my XDm45 5.25 for IDPA. Shooters Connection has them in stock.
  6. Tons of options. Those listed plus PRP I think all sell ready to run guns and you can beat the shipping costs. Happy shopping.
  7. Likewise a DP adjustable rear and .100 wide fiber optic on the front. Can't remember for sure but think Dawson told me a .285 tall height for the front; but, I'm hard headed and got the .265" and it's working quite well.
  8. I'm getting 166 PF with 4.4 gr N320 at 1.135 out of a XDm 40. Just haven't done the final tweaking yet.
  9. 3.5 gr N320 at 1.135 gives me 133 PF out of my XDm 9. Almost the same as in my M&P 9 Pro.
  10. Got my Spartan .45 from them. Hit the Buy Now button and paid with a credit card (3% added fee). $618 delivered. Hard to beat for a bare bones .45.
  11. Try calling Apex and talking to Randy or Scott. Bet they can help you get to where you need to be.
  12. Good point; a small on my .45 feels just like a medium on my 9 Pro. They are indeed inter-changeable.
  13. And if you prefer the large backstrap; a little work with a utility knife or dremel will make it fit and look great.
  14. Unofficial results have BJ winning today (per his FB page).
  15. I'm sure you are well aware of pressure issues with WST when loading short; assume around 1.140 for the M&P. I have run some 180 BBI and Bayou Bullets with 4.6 gr WST and they are around 170 out of my XDm40; just didn't like the way the primers looked. 4.7 gr Solo runs about the same and primers still look good. I tend to like the Solo or WSF for the .40 but run a lot of WST for 9mm and .45's. Good luck in finding the right weight and watch for pressure signs.
  16. Currently running 3.6 gr Solo with Donnie's 147 (and other lead bullets) at 1.135 COL. Consistantly getting 133 PF from both STI Spartan and M&P 9 Pro. That's chronoed at 100* and the indoor readings (73*) yesterday were just a little faster. Have some 160's and gonna start at 3.6 gr and see what happens.
  17. 3.6 Solo with 147 gr BBI loaded to 1.140 gets me 133 PF (@100*) out of my Pro.
  18. 4.0 gr N320 (minor) and 4.5 gr N320 (major) with either BBI or Bayou Bullet 180 gr loaded to 1.140 in my XDm40. Run the minor loads with a 16 lb recoil spring and the majors with an 18 lb spring. Works good for me but may or may not work for you. Good luck in finding those magic loads.
  19. Lee dies for 9mm, 40, and .45 ACP in my LNL with no issues. Use the bushing and you are good to go.
  20. Putting the pin punch in a vise (sideways) and pushing the MSH against it works well for me. Once the spring is clear of the pin; just push it in. I've found it easier to control unwanted launches this way.
  21. Guys on XDTalk are up in arms; everybody wanted a single stack or new .45. Think it's a great option for comp shooters but wonder why in 9mm only. A .40 would have been nice but guess they can work the bugs out with the 9mm before releasing the .40.
  22. Another vote for DP adjustable. Got 'em on all my guns.
  23. Apex Tactical will mill the SBH and install the "new" larger plunger and spring. $25 plus $7.50 shipping. Give them a call and they can fix you up. Just had mine done prior to installing the comp trigger kit in my 9 Pro. Sent it out on a Friday and it was back in my hands the following Friday. Roughly the same price as a new SBH and both Midway and Brownell's were both out of stock at the time. Good luck in getting the problem resolved.
  24. I use Metalform base pads (available from DP or Brownell's) for my Spartan mags. They are .375 thick and work well with my Ed Brown magwell. Might work with the Dawson Ice Magwell.

Oakhill Enterprises shows to have both the 4.5" with night sights and the 5" model in stock. That was a while ago when I was prowling their sight. Maybe they are still in stock.
