  1. is the only difference between the razor and viper 1-4 the glass? Also does anyone know if one has brighter illumination than the other....THX
  2. My advice...and trust me I've been there before with the LaRue stuff, is to either send it to LaRue and let them remove it or take it to a qualifie gunsmith. The LaRue uppers are put together like cement and I dung the crap out of a gas block trying to get it off. They use red loctite on the screws and I have also found they use it on the space between the barrel and gas block as well, making it a real pain Jacob
  3. I would try cheapest to most expensive first. Start by changing slug ammo and possibly chokes
  4. Just to clarify they are sticking in the dies right? Making sure were not talking about the shellplate or something
  5. automating a machine that you have to put your hands inside of the working and mechanically advantaged parts is a no no...Definitely 650 or 1050 with PW autodrive
  6. Wow smoking deal...It always amazes me how a little cleaning that someone else won't do makes a product look and work so much better
  7. Once rolling it will make the rockchucker seem like walking backwards
  8. If you are talking for the 21...get any gen with the rails and finger grooves..After that it's mostly little things that make no huge difference....
  9. NO you are definitely right....DO IT
  10. You definitely only need to shoot as fast as you see....Trust me I shoot faster than I see until I seriously starting plugging in the info from Brian's book...A must read
  11. The 870 is the american shotgun...that being said I think using it in 3 gun puts you at a distinct disadvantage against a benelli or 1100 guy...now to just go have fun.. wear it out
  12. The day you realize that you can speed up AND shoot accurately is the day this sport becomes VERY addicting
  13. After spending two days in Brian's practical shooting book...neutrality neutrality neutrality....and for me lots of luck
  14. sometimes our mind gets ahead of our eyes
  15. One thing I have found changing from 9 to 40 is you can use the same shellplate and only change dies and locator pins. In this case it helps to have locking die rings as your settings can stay put Bets
  16. that is definitely the way to go on alignment
  17. The slide is going slightly too far ahead but is pushed back slightly as the toolhead comes down and the toolhead rod pushes into the shellplate and primer area, pushing the primer slide into the correct position just before the primer punch comes up. My rl1050 does this as well and I just got it. I thought it was normal...Is it not?? Bets
  18. Let me know how that works out. I have a new 21" black m2 I may part with if another deal comes thru for me. Hope this doesnt violate any rules Bets
  19. The shell plate should settle on its correct ending mark with the correct adjustment. When facing the press on the left side is the adjustment for indexing. Moving the triangular shaped piece forward and back controls how far the shellplate moves forward before relying on the momentum to settle it in the correct position. That may help?
  20. The dillons I have are all great machines but as stated not perfect. It would be cool to see a blue bullet feeder though!!
  21. definetly going to give this a try...Thanks Brian!!!!
