I've got three of them. One locks up very tight. The other two have some play in them. Annoying, but they work fine.

I shot my first ever classifier match last weekend. 5.88 seconds and 58 points made a 9.8639 hit factor. The calculator says this is 100% for production. Is that right??

I don't get all the drama with requiring the safety on. Whether you shoot a DA only or a manual safety gun, it won't discharge unless you press the trigger. Is a Glock or M&P really any more safe than an STI with the safety lever off?

That is dissapointing. This was going to be one of my "big 3". I guess I'll have to settle for my "big 2" matches. Can someone give the reason they aren't on the list this year?

My SLP locked up tighter than a virgin in a convent running those Winchester Universals. I had to take the barrel off to get the shell out of it a few times. Federals run great. So do the Winchester AA Light target loads.

Is it a reloaded dummy shell or a commercial dummy round? The rims get banged up after being loaded and unloaded numerous times and eventually won't come out easily.

My wallet is $245 poorer, but my heart feels so much richer. LOL

I started a year ago. Seems like perfect timing because lots of exciting things are happening in the sport. I'm a little confused too, but thats nothing new . I like where things are headed and its great to be a part of it while it all unfolds. Just make sure and speak slowly and aviod the use of large words for us slow people.

Mine does it sporadically. It seems to do it when I am shooting fast, so I wonder if it is bump-firing.

Did my chrono testing today. 50 degrees. 10 shots averaged 2682 fps. Out of two five shot groups one was at an inch. The other at about 1.5". This was with a 4x scope and 2.3 moa dot.

I would recomend ordering S&W sku: 150922. Its already set up from the factory with the 9mm threaded bbl and proper sights for a suppressor. Looks equally capable as a 3-gun pistol. I had the oportunity to shoot an M&P .45 with suppressor at the A-6 3-gun a couple of years ago curtousy of Ernest Langdon. It was a real fun shooter and got me hooked on suppresors and M&P's. I will soon be doing an M&P w/suppressor, problem is I cant decide weather to go .45 or 9mm. I have an Osprey 45 on order. I'm also getting extra pistons for .40 and 9mm. Three calibers in one can with only a slight increase in decibel level.

I had that happen once too. "Why the hell won't this round chamber????" The look on my face I'm just glad it wasn't far enough in to let that round chamber.

M&P Pro also. I have a Dawson f/o front sight. I got one slightly shorter to bring up the POI. I also have the apex competition sear and spring kit along with the RAM. I put the stock trigger spring back in for an increased pull. I like it. I did my own stippling with a soldering iron. The backstrap is replaceable for very cheap, so it was risk free. The upside is, all of these modifications can be done by yourself fairly easily.

Same here. Especially after I had the lifter welded, I would have an occasional misfeed. Throating the chamber ended that.
