I could have worded that better. The origin of my question lies in the fact that the ranking list of last years series is gone from the website, so it's impossible to see where people were at. I didn't think about how that came across until you pointed it out. My aplogies for that. On page 11 post # 261 there is a link to a list of shooters. Several of which I thought (correctly so) were not in the top 100 but I couldn't find the other "list". I THOUGHT that the link to the profile page was a list of the pro shooters for 2012. Clearly I was wrong. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. So everybody take a deep breath and if I've hurt some feelings feel free to approach me at any match that I shoot and point out that I owe you a beer....or three.

Are they really going down a list, or just cherry picking who they want? ETA- What I SHOULD have asked is "does anyone have a link to the list of 100 from last year?"

I believe that's for the amateur series.

It's pretty exciting to be a part of this as it evolves. I already had 3 matches planned, the hard question is which series to shoot!! With so many options it will really narrow down the competition.

Not reliable, but great for practice ammo. You should practice for malfunctions.....right?

I would also be prepared to shoot from some low, awkward, painfull position. They love those low ports!

I like the sound of that semi-pro series.

You could probably sell it for $150 and put that toward the barrel you want. I'd keep it at 20", shoot it for a few matches, then decide if it's worth having it turned down.

I'll be in Shreveport for that match. I've never seen the ELS used as "duty gear". They had a stage in Texas last year with the dump pouch too. But I'm still bringing the caddies. I have the ELS belt, but I'll be using a plain nylon belt for this one.

I had a discussion with my sons Pediatrician about my reloading and possible exposure to lead. He asked if I let him suck and chew on raw lead bullets. When I answered in the negative he said not to worry about it then.

Great job to those who put this match on. The stages were fun and challenging and the match ran like a Swiss watch. Please invite the reporter lady back again next year too! Having the prize table and awards inside a building was a fantastic idea!
