  1. No, they are total junk! I will give you $100 each for the two that you dont want. They are great guns! If you want to sell one, my 12 year old wants to get a revolver to shoot icore.
  2. Ready tactical for holster and mag pouches. I love mine. Apex aek trigger kit (production leagal ) apex ram. I also really like the warren tactical sights. Fiber optic front and the rear blade that looks like bunny ears.
  3. Thanks for the replies. I will get some loaded and see if I can borrow someones chrono at the next match.
  4. I have an m&p pro 40s&w, 5". I want to shoot uspsa limited ten. ( limited ten because I live in california ). I have a lot of titegroup and some berrys 180gr bullets. I was planning on starting out with 4.5gr of TG, 1.140 oal, and .421 crimp. Anyone have experience with this combo of gun, powder, and bullet that can give me some help/advice. After I load and shoot the 250 berrys 180gr I will be ordering bayou 180gr. I use Bayou bullets for 9mm, 38, and it will make it easy to order if I use them for 40 as well. I am assuming that the Berrys and Bayou 180gr will shoot very close to the same. I have the apex aek kit in the gun. Will it work with cci primers or should I stay with my depleting supply of federal primers.
  5. I started out shooting .22 at my local rim fire match. Our club also lets .22's shoot at uspsa and Icore matches. I loved both uspsa and Icore and now have guns for both sports. It took me over a year to get a 9mm and 2 1/2 years to get a revolver. If someone would have said that my .22 could not shoot the match......then I may have never have joined uspsa and Icore. My son now shoots his .22 at the revolver match and would love to have a revolver of his own. What are the upsides? 1. Some that already shoot Idpa or Uspsa may like Icore and buy a revolver. 2. New shooter can bring any gun (me with my .22) and get started in the shooting sport. 3. More money for the club. 4. What is more fun than beating a tricked out STI?
  6. I use crushed walnut from harbor freight with a shot of NuFinish in each batch.
  7. I had the same problem. I changed the arm under the shell plate. I don't remember what it's called but it is the arm that moves the shell plate. Problem fixed.
  8. I load on a Dillon square deal. I have never hand primed and don't have any problems. I shoot a 627 that has been worked over by apex. It has a light trigger. Sets off federal primer all the time.
  9. 3.1 TG, 147 bayou, 1.15oal shoots great out of glock 34 and 5''' m&p pro
  10. Thank you to all who have served and are serving. We owe you more than words can ever say. You are and always will be true American Heroes.
  11. Oops. It was not bake of brush. Edit to say brake of brush. Similar to brake of trees.
  12. I always remember stuff better in story form. So here is a little story to help with break and brake. Opening day of deer season. I had been working all night on my sheet metal brake. I decided to take a break from work and go home. On the way home I saw a huge buck just past the break in the trail. I hit the brake on the truck. I got out quietly walked up behind a brake a trees. the sun had just started to break over the hill as I broke the shot. The bucks fall was broken by a brake of brush as it fell to the ground. What a lucky break to get a buck on the way home from work.
  13. what if you used a tsa lock and your own lock in the same lock point? Granted it fit. If tsa agent wants to cut your lock then there will still be a tsa lock to use.
  14. I am getting ready to get my hip done in 3 weeks. What kind of bearing surface did your dr put in?
  15. I have the same ones but mine are all wood. I really like them. The big but on the grip is great if you ever have to go prone.
  16. What happens when you shoot steel? If you miss low on the plate rack do all the plates fall over? Looks like it would be fun to shoot a stage with the 500.
  17. You check that it is empty. RO ckecks that is empty. Then the hammer is dropped just to make shure. You can never be too safe.
  18. I think the Walther might fit well also....but...the only one that I saw had a lot of trouble with miss feeds. The reviews I have seen would also indicate that the Walther is pickier than the Ruger or the Buckmark when it comes to ammo.
  19. I use 147 bayou with 3.1 grain of TG. The factory spring work perfectly. I am running the apex ark trigger kit.
  20. Warren tactical rear and warren fiber front
  21. I have jr shooters and will have for a long time. Number 7 was just born. They liked the 22/45. The one w/o the removable grip pannels . It is way to thin for me but great for little hands. The other gun is the browning buckmark with the urx grips. Both guns were set up with lite barreles. I started my kids with iron sights. Later they tried the dot and had more fun. I have a friend that runs a jr shooter program and he starts them all on the dot.
  22. I was changing out my shell plate on my dillon sd. I noticed a little power that need to get cleaned. So I removed the the little metal ball under the shell plate....it fell, hit my shoe and went under my work bench....I think that's where it went? I have not cleaned under the bench in years, looked for 30 min. And nothing. Not being able to load I decided to take apart the sd and replace the wave bearings, and other worn part and give it a good cleaning. As I was taking it apart I found the other small metal ball that I had dropped months ago. It had got stuck down in the ram. Now my machine is running like new and I don't have to call dillon for parts. So what turned out to be a hate...loosing parts...turned out to be a blessing.
