  1. Although I have only been shooting for about three years, I have never witnessed or heard of any type of gun related accident at a major or local match.
  2. The most important thing is that they return to the same spot after each shot. It doesn't matter how they recoil as long as your in a neutral position and the front sight returns to the same spot after each shot.
  3. If you go to the USPSA web site you can do a search for local clubs. They will have contact info and most of them have web sites. Hope this helps.
  4. I have some, I sent you a PM this morning
  5. Great match today, the weather even cooperated. Thanks to all the people who made it possible, and thanks for posting the scores so quickly that is awesome.
  6. Why do you want such a hot load? What is its intended purpose?
  7. Splatter on steel happens from time to time. Just make sure your not shooting pistols at steel targets that are closer than 8 yards.
  8. 5-11 Tactical makes a watch that is in your price range. It even have a compass built into it in case you get lost on one of those long 3 gun stages in the woods. Lol
  9. Cory will have them turned in ASAP. You should get the update the next time the USPSA runs classifier scores on 3/15/12. You will be just fine for the BATTLE.
  10. They should be posted on the USPSA web site. Be patient it may take them a few days to get them up.
  11. Great match today. I really enjoyed the stages, can't wait for next month. Thank you to Nick for getting USPSA at your facility and thanks to Rick and his crew for all of your hard work before, during and after the match.
  12. In October I bought the same gun from shooters connection minus the chrome. I put grip on it and had the trigger worked on and love the gun. It's perfect for SS especially if you already load 40. Have fun with it.
  13. That's an incredible story. I'm glad Cabellas was able to help out your neighbor. 8 grand and a replica is a great deal.
  14. I would go with the same size or even one size bigger depending on what division you shoot. SS and Production take more mag pouches and more space on the belt. My limited rig is the same as my pant size and my SS rig is one size larger.
  15. Very inconsiderate of your sister. LOL. Both of my sisters got married within 4 months of each other this year, but it was during the winter.
  16. I disagree with that idea. We need to follow the rules as defined in the rule book. There is a very detailed Chrono process listed in the Rule book and it needs to be followed when running a Chrono stage. The rules should be followed. Bending the rules to sooth ruffled feathers is the wrong approach. The vast majority of the time the guys that get pisses about not making their declared PF at a local match KNOW they were either pushing the envelope on the lower threshold of PF or are out right cheating. They are just frustrated that they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar. I see your point. I was thinking of the weekend warriors. I myself am serious about what I do in the shooting world and if I don't make PF I should pay the price it was just a suggestion to ease the pain for some who just shoot for fun. I do agree the rules are the rules.
  17. I agree we should all play by the rules. My suggestion would be at a local match give the shooter the benefit of the doubt with a margin of error of + or - 5 in PF and let the ones know who don't make PF that next time they will be bumpted to minor or shoot for no score. I think this allows people to save face and still keeps it fun for those who may never shoot a higher level match.
  18. Can't wait for the match. I have a feeling the location will draw a bigg crowd in the coming months.
  19. To start maybe just try a 1.180 OAL. That may save you some time rather then trying out a bunch of different spring combinations.
  20. Tripp Research is the way to go. They have great mags and great costomer service.
  21. I really like my Race Master holster. When the gun is in the holster it is rock solid. I also like the fact that you can adjust every aspect of the holster. There are an infinite number of positions you can put this holster in, you just have to fine tune it to what you want. Hope this helps.
