  1. Thanks for the replies guys. http://vortexcanada.net/images/products/riflescopes/accessories/rac_rings_cm-203.jpg Has anyone used this mount? Who makes it? I don't really want a quick disconnect but I do want a cantilever that fits the Z6i eye relief without getting in the way of the SCR-11 side charging handle.
  2. I'm looking for SCR-11 owners and what scope mount they are using. I'm leaning towards a Larue/Bobro/ADM type mount. Has anyone experienced any problems with anything getting in the way of the side charging handle like doubled up magazines or the quick disconnects on some scope mounts? I will be using a Z6i and prefer the actual scope mount to stay on the 1913/picatinny rail and not hang off the upper like the photos on the JP webpage show their mount hanging off. I will call JP tomorrow to get their advice and or information on this subject as well but want to know what y'all have run across first.
  3. The short and sweet: 1911 is single stack and 2011 is double stack/ hi cap 20,21 sometimes 22 rounds for limited division. Magazine length limit is 140mm. Manufactures are STI and Infinity/SV.
  4. Twenty three six 23.60 twenty thirty six 20.36 Looking at the RO's timer is best.
  5. Yep, I can't say enough about how much I appreciate a good product and service.
  6. 3.6 should be a great starting point and try a 10 or 9 lb. Wolff recoil spring.
  7. +1, Jack and the RO's did a great job! Also a THANK YOU to Briley for the Franchi 3-gun shotgun that was raffled on Sunday, that I won
  8. I don't notice the blunt rib because i like front and rear sights on my shotgun (it is setup for me) therefore the tapper at the end is cosmetic like Jadeslade says he just didn't like the way "it looked". But I also understand that some true shotgunners prefer the original rib setup without rear sight and low front bead or fiber rod because that is what works for them. hax, Try as many different setups as you can and form your own opinion on what works for you. Everyone I know would let other shooters try their shotgun setup if they were in the market of buying one. And yes I do recommend Briley because they do fantastic work on shotguns, like Jadeslade says "Briley does good work". The most difference to me was going to the Benelli M2 platform. I like it much much better than my last shotgun, but the last shotgun was my first multigun shotgun and it served its purpose for six years.
  9. Thanks, it is awesome. Yes I would recommend Briley, they did everything I asked for and then some I didn't know about. It has been proven to work with the shells I shoot without any problems. If you live close you can shoot it all you want and if your not close you can call Briley and speak with Claudio to get a good feel for what your wants are. Sean Gains (Power Factor Shooting)on this forum is also a big help with the Briley multigun shotguns. I bought the gun used and got a great price on it. It didn't matter what the barrel length was because Briley cut it and threaded it for chokes. So find a used M2 cheap and get what you want in a 3 gun shotgun. I saw one in the show room floor a couple weeks back ready to go
  10. I really like the photochromic (transitions) lens. I use custom ear molds but I don't think the magsters have bulky ear pieces. The advantage of inner Rx lenses is when they get scratched Its easier on the wallet. http://www.rudyprojectusa.com/index_inner_detail.php?group_id=1&cat_id=30&item_id=SN668106TTE
  11. Some hotels have a safe big enough to keep you gear of value in. I found a hotel in San Antonio that was willing to let me store two range bags in.
  12. Just tried it for the first time this morning, I like it but I'll give it about a week to know for sure. Maybe I'll kick the can
  13. I agree with Skydiver, I ended up with Magster's with RX inserts. I really didn't have anyone's to try on so I called Rudy and I had 5 shipped to me to try on and kept 2 then returned the other three.
  14. BRT on mine as well and I'm very happy with it.
