Been lurking awhile and made a few posts but neglected to introduce myself. I live in Sour Lake, Texas. Shot a little comp pistol 20 years ago. Life got away from me. Looked in the gun safe one day and said I've got the guns to shoot some comp. Cowboy - Ruger Vaquero and 1866 Yellowboy in 45 LC and 1878 coach gun. 3gun - 1911, Sig Sauer 556 and just bought a Benelli M1 to build into a 3gun sg. Any info yall have on meet and greets and low level matches would be great. Looking to have a good time and meet some good folks. Too fat and gettin too old to take anything real serious. Scott

I want to thank everybody for their input. I purchased a 26" M1S90 yesterday. Ordered a Nordic +7 and clamp last night. Time to turn some money into noise. I used to shoot a lot of clays so I guess there was a reason for me hanging onto 20 cases of Remington and Win 7 1/2s.

Benelli M1 Super90 clean for $750 sound like a good place to start? Guy says 25" Bbl. I figure it's a 26

Thanks. I've found a 26" 1100 Syn matte finish with chokes for 499 and a 26" wood bright finish with chokes for 399

Looking into putting together a gun for play and maybe a bit of 3 gun. I've found a couple of 1100s and I'm looking hard at the CZ 712. I know people are gonna say Benelli but I don't want to sink that much into one. Is there one of the Beretta models that will take mods such as a mag extension that I can get reasonable. I like a Beretta, I shoot an A400 Xplor Unico. I just figured for the price, an 1100 or a 712 should fit the bill. Any reccomendations, opinion or snide remarks are encouraged.

I owned a Beretta 300 many many years ago and let it get away from me (along with the ex-wife. I was worth losing the gun.) I am looking at another 300 to set up as a 3-gun, play around gun. Can anyone tell me if I can get a mag tube extension for it and other accessories? I would appreciate it.
