  1. Last chance to get in and have a chance at winning some stuff from Thunderbeast Suppressors and AccuFire optics.
  2. Best guess is approx 25-30 shots past 200 yards. The targets past 200 will be a steel 12 or a 14 inch diamond or a full sized IPSC. There will be approx 60 shots between 100 and 200 yards, all of it 4-6 MOA sized steel.
  3. Last call before the cost goes up... If you want a chance at winning a scope from AccuFire or a suppressor from Thunderbeast, hurry up and get registered. The shirt and plaque order goes in soon, I need a good head count.
  4. I have both. So far I can only find one downside to the 1100 over the 1050. The handle stroke distance is noticeably longer on the 1100. Thats it. The only downside.
  5. We are happy to announce that AccuFire has donated a couple 1-6 scopes for our prize table. https://www.accufiretech.com We have had a few slots open up these past few weeks. https://practiscore.com/colorado-state-tactical-rifle-2021-championship-clone/register Hope to see you there.
  6. Keep in mind what MG did following Sandy Hook.
  7. Or... dont wet tumble them so long. They dont have to look like jewelry.
  8. Try less lube. Too much or too little Hornady One Shot is bad. Too much the cases spin. Too little and you can get galling in the die.
  9. Still a little room left. Unless you want to be stuck on the wait list, get signed up soon.
  10. Consider grinding a bit more taper to the bottom of the plug to allow it to center itself a little easier. And slow down the index speed and/or bump up the pause at the top of the stroke to allow the case to stop moving around.
  11. Minimal case length growth. I initially trim to 1.355 and let it ride from there for the most part.
  12. Has anyone ever heard of anyone changing frame with a hammer mounted pin to a frame mounted pin? Or is it even possible? Yes. I know it would be expensive and is a solution in search of a problem.
  13. The only thing I sort for is non US headstamp brass. Some offshore brands can give you necks that are too thick for 300 brass. Lapua, PMC and a few others are good. The rest arent worth my time.
  14. Be 100% sure you are setting up your FL resize die to bump the case shoulder back about 2-3 thousandths.
  15. 9, 38/357, 40, 44 mag, 45 ACP, 223 and 308. I have asked about 30 Carbine and 45 Colt, but they arent offered for the commercial machine. I asked about die blanks that I could machine down to the proper diameter, crickets.
  16. The PW autodrive is complete garbage compared to a Mark 7. I had one for a few months. Never got it to be 100%.
  17. Registration is open for this years match. We added a stage and a squad.
  18. Try starting around 39 gns and work up from there. I am also using small primer brass so my numbers will be off a touch from large primer bras.
  19. 01 January. Thunderbeast has again signed up as the main match sponsor and we will be again be giving away lots of cans and cash. https://practiscore.com/colorado-state-tactical-rifle-2021-championship-clone/register
  20. Dillon has a really long track record. I went from 1050 to 1100 instead of 1050 to Apex.
  21. I bought a 9x19 and a 223 shellplate from FW arms. The 9mm worked fine. The 223 didnt. Oh well. I guess I am batting 500.
  22. I am also using the JW bearing plates on my 550s. Good stuff.
  23. I pretty much have a 5 gallon bucket of Winchester (WCC GI brass) that I use. It has been flawless from the start. When the random Remington works its way into the stash, it is easy to find because they dont stay in the moon clip.
