  1. Congrats to the Champ! Igor, you shot a great match. Great times and very good points! Looks like that Lopez kid is on his way to dethrone Jerry at the next WS....
  2. LOL, I'm close to quitting watching MMA altogether. I like an upset, but this year has been too much. Sokoudjou beating both Lil' Noguiera and Arona by KO Crocop losing twice Henderson knocking out Silva Forrest beating Shogun and Liddell losing to Jardine... WOW!
  3. Thanks guys! Dang! I have been so busy with the new job I didn't really celebrate it But there's always time for beers of course. 29 feels so close to 30...
  4. I met Stewart in person last year when he was visiting Amsterdam. My first contact with Stewart was on these forums. He offered to financially help me to go to the World Shoot in Ecuador in 2005. I was surprized people like him still existed. I was a poor student back then and didn't have the money to go. Stewart believed it would be a great mistake if I didn't go, because I could end up somewhere in the Top 10. I went home with a Bronze Medal, thanks to Stewart... There are few people who have impressed me by their kindness. Stewart was one of them. All I could think when I first saw him was: "Wow, what an incredibly sweet guy". And he was really funny too! I had a great time with him and it is so strange how I have only met him once in person, yet his loss has really upset me. He was a very inspiring and positive man and, although we only had contact through this forum, I will really really miss him. Bjorn Dietrich
  5. Just awesome... Him saying: "Not bad for an old man..." was really touching. Such a great guy.

    Glock Sight's

I really like the Ameriglo fixed target sights. Very wie notch and a nice and crisp .090" fron sight. That is what I am running.
  7. You can still watch it on Dailymotion: http://www.dailymotion.com/visited/search/...orges-st-pierre
  8. Hehe, so true I started training grappling about 4 months ago at Kops Gym in Amsterdam, and I've had the great luck that Aleksander has some matches in Holland and is training at my gym at the moment. The guy is an absolute animal when it comes to training but a very friendly guy on and off the mat. Aleksander told us Fedor would probably be training in the gym somewhere next month. I hope I can get some pics!
  9. The only reason I wanted Monson to lose is that it would maybe mean Sylvia would have to face Fedor sometime. I would pay sooo much $$$ to witness that ass whoopin'! @KimberKid, ditto on Monson. Awesome grappler. His Abu Dhabi performances were great.
  10. LOL, I have the exact same predictions as Sandoz, including the "sadly Sylvia". After seeing how BJ Penn tooled Matt for 2 rounds before his popped rib (and perhaps smaller gas tank) made him lose, I think GSP can finally take it. I just hope he learnt he can't get sloppy with Hughes. I am rooting for Monson. He seems like a way cooler guy than Sylvia (which isn't very hard ). And I will always root for the grappler
  11. By the way, I was not amused by the uber-long male-nudity grappling scene - I almost walked out of the movie in disgust. I swear it lasted at least 5 minutes, but maybe some of the female members can confirm. " The grappling scene really killed me. I laughed so hard, I (fortunataly) wasn't able to see what was going on, because I had tears in my eyes. I can't wait until the Bruno flick will be in the Cinema's.
  12. Damn near killed me. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time Jagshemash, I like! Samples
  13. I am just hella proud of 2nd place Desiree van Noord, flying in from Holland to finish Second to Kay with less than a half point difference. Way to go! Quite a performance for your first USPSA match!
  14. Looks like more of us are having the same troubles. I decided to take it easy after the end of the 2005 shooting season. I have shot, 4 matches since and don't feel like practicing at all. The weird thing is that I don't even care about my lack of interest for shooting. I have more fun things to do
  15. Gut feeling He seems very arrogant and unapproachable. Tito for instance, acts very arrogant, but he is great to the fans. I like good fighters, but they have to be cool outside the ring also. Fighters like Randy, Bas Rutten, Matt Hughes and Fedor. Chuck lacks that class IMHO.
  16. Well he almost took Big John McCarthy down A little embarassing that Big John almost ended up mounting Sobral though....
  17. +1 The only reason I wanted Liddell to win is because that was a requirement for him to fight Wanderlei. But since that fight is cancelled anyway, I am rooting for Sobral. Griffin vs. Bonnar will probably be Griffin. I don't care much for that fight. Griffin's fights look like non-technical slugfests... Can't wait for the rest of both Pride Bushido and Pride OWGP
  18. Well, you have a computer. Is it illegal to download HBO stuff through P2P torrents?
  19. as the kids these days say QFT. LOL, had to look QFT up. I thought it would stand for "Quit F***in' Trying" Quoted For Truth works too though

  21. 7607 of those posts are in the Shooting Technique Forum. That's not even 2% Exactly, Spook. And perhaps the real point of my original post is that success in this division has nothing to do with fancy and expensive accessories. Exactly, the need for accessoires and modifications needs to come from enhancing the shooting (or at least that is my point of view )
  22. He has something to do with this place
  23. I like the green see through netting, because I like the color green
