    Zero distance

Less bore offset = less issue but it's still the same concept. With a 12yrd zero it's going to shoot low at 7yrd and high at 25yrd how much is going to directly depend on your bore offset and that number has a lot more variation in open than pcc and is probably the reason short yardage zeros are not as much of a problem for some gun/optic combos. And yes on longer shots where your splits are slower I would personally rather have the dot exactly where the poi is going to be.
  2. 115 everglades v2 jhp over 4.5 gr of WSF. 130-132 PF from a 14.5 SI barrel. Thay loads consistently shoots better than I can with a 2moa dot. WSF is cheap and I can find it anywhere and no way I will ever go back to coated bullets and cleaning comps after shooting jhp. Everglades are cheaper than most people realize if you buy 4k at a time.
  3. Not sure why they haven't gotten back to you, maybe just lost in the Christmas shuffle. There web site is back up and lots of mounts in stock.
  4. Tevo sports web site is back up for those looking for a 510c mount. Mine is on the way and I am really excited to try this dot on an open gun.

  6. There shouldn't be that much difference recoil/dot rise. I would run the heaviest bolt/buffer combo I could to slow things down and delay the opening but after that take advantage of the cost and availability and practice. Once the gun is running reliably it will do more for your game than any buffer voodoo.
  7. Blitz 5150hd , Blitz buffer weight and a JP 308 rifle spring is pretty close to a plug and play. It gets better with short stroking but at that point your technique is going matter more than buffer voodoo.
  8. I would say somewhere between 6 and 7.5 is where 90% of PCCs fall. Any heavier and your movent suffers and any lighter and tracking suffers.
  9. The D60 pmag is very reliable. Some of the 20rd 12guage drums are marginally more reliable than the 3ft long 20rd stick mags.
  10. Personally I like the techwel better but I think it's a moot point for an NFA lower since titan is the only game in town. The titan is serviceable and better than alot printed ones I have seen.
  11. My titan rocket went the NFA lower just fine. The finish was what I would consider better than average for a printed item so I didn't touch the actual magwel. It did need some blending for a true chute with no edges. I like the techwel on my wife's Gibbs alot better but its twice the money.
  12. I have to have a more multipurpose load since we shoot both USPSA and 3gun. I find stuff more in the 140-150 pf range has a quicker and more predictable recoil impulse. It will also take down cranky steel and spinners more efficiently than a 125-130pf load. We also shoot to 100yards so I need something that will stay around 2-3moa. 115gr Everglades v2 JHP with WSF 4.5(130pf) - 5.2(150pf) does what I need without changing components around for different disciplines.
  13. This is mine and my wife's belt. I will prob build a dedicated PCC belt instead of hauling around all the stuff I dont need.
  14. As I said it's not my belt but it gives some ideas about how a pro sets there's up. I have a horizontal pouch on right side and a SpeedRL in front. The load and make ready mag goes on the magnet and a 33 goes on the pouch. Seen to many 140s get used and the person does not have enough ammo to finish the stage. As far as the spare bolt goes with practice you can change it in about 5 seconds. I am not shooting national level events so I dont bother with one but I do understand why its there.
  15. Your main mags are nearly horizontal across the front. Maybe a standard 140mm mag on your left as a back up. This is not my belt but mine is the same. Keeping them layed over also allows you to bend over and reset and pick up brass.
  16. Yes, both mine and my wife's are setup that way. I tried the A5 tube blitz recommended but I wouldn't go that route unless you absolutely needed a LBHO. Both guns will run with less stroke with 150pf ammo( factory 115gr) than my normal 130pf ammo but both will reset there triggers just fine. I personally don't run the hyperfire shoe as it drags on my finger pad and causes reset issues. One thing I did notice is that when i thought i was getting trigger freeze it was just a timing issue, taking more stroke out not less fixed it for me so don't be afraid to try less stroke if your trigger reset gets weird.
  17. It happens, alot of people i know just run without em.
  18. Every pcc has some dot movement even well tuned ones. Your particular gun being short and light in the muzzle is going to have more dot movement than a heavier gun all things being equal. There are 2 basic theories on buffers, 1. Heavy mass systems 2 light mass systems The heavy systems have less felt recoil with about the same dot movement but it takes a fraction of a second longer for the dot to return. Light systems have more felt recoil but the dot returns quicker. Since you already have the blitz system I would run that. Blitz buffer, buffer weight, 308 rifle spring and about 3/8 of short stroking with around 130pf ammo. After that it's more stance and grip then chasing comps.
  19. The bolt is opening to soon. You need to go back to running weight in the bolt. Light weight short stroked setups are the most difficult to tune properly. The heavy blitzsetup is way easier to tune and you won't be blowing cases apart.
  20. Qc 10 lower with a heavy buffer system as your going to be running full power 255gr 45 loads. Taccom has barrels and upper.
  21. https://matthewsfabrication.com/product/adjustable-kydex-cheek-rest/ Get the one for the 10/22 fits perfect.
  22. My ruger had far more ejection issues with factory ammo vs minor PF reloads. Seemed like the lower bolt speed helped the extractor hold the case in place. Mine required both extractor and ejector tweeking to run 100%. It was perfect for about 2k then started giving issues.
  23. I have shot mine in alot of matches and i just dont get what these "disadvantages" to this platform are? Sure its a steak and baked potato over weight but thats not really an issue due to the balance point. The only real problem is the mag release and i think you could easily make M before it would affect your classifier.
