  1. That sucks. We get the same thing out here with satellite. That one cloud moves right into the signal path at the wrong time.
  2. My Aftec experience is they need a lot of care and break in to get them to work right, then they will last a long time.
  3. I have 2 Kart bbls in a pair of Kimber 9's. They fit so tight and shoot very accurate, I hate to do any polishing or anything to it. I just keep em oiled well.
  4. I have some of their Square plates hung by chains. Not the AR500, just regular steel. Holds up great to the thousands of pistol rounds I threw at it.
  5. I think the modern aluminum frames hold up very well. About all manufactures make them. I have an early model 39 S&W that the old time I bought it off of told me he was afraid to shoot aluminum guns of that era. Several guys at gun shows have told me that about older guns, but not of new ones. Shoot that light blaster.
  6. If you are looking for m class shooters to learn from, run far far away from me.
  7. To get 21 in an STI tube you will need either bowlen or grams internals and bowlen, grams or dawson basepad. Your tube will most likley need to be tunen to get 21 in it. Give Freedom Gunworks a visit. He will get you fixed up right.
  8. You Evil? Don't you know everybody associates you with halos?

  11. Get any one that you like the looks of that has a good fire rating. Then after that one is full take the lessons learned from the first buying experience to get a better one at a lower price for your next one.
  12. Are you still considered "at the USPSA match" while inside the porta potty? If so who is going to RO those sh!++y stages.
  13. I'm shooting Friday as well. Looking forward to meeting everybody. (In the warm weather)
  14. Dan, have you talked to Bobby about putting a lot of red and blue around this match?
  15. I like the Double Alpha mag pouches. Easy adjustments. you can cant them in just about any direction. I had trouble with the screws coming out of the rescomp (cr speed) pouches.
  16. Bobby Keigans At Freedom Gunworks. He does great work and has a page here in the vendor area. Check it out.
  17. Just a little southeast in Clinton County is Clinton County Farmers and Sportsman Association www.ccfsa.com They shoot IDPA all year long and hopefully soon will be shooting USPSA as well.
  18. Yes Get a DOH. She will love it, and hopefully will take up the sport.
  19. Eagle or Trojan would be an excellent choice. Eagle will get you close to your 2k limit after the gun and several mags. Give Freedom Gunworks a call. He can get you into the gun you want.
  20. Amen. +1 Right on. Now if I can just learn to do it.
  21. I had forgotten about that stage. Gee thanks for digging that terrible memory back up.
  22. That's an interesting idea. If he does I might bring a batch also.
  23. From none to 3. Sounds Very expensive. In more ways than I can count.
  24. I know that the weather will be a lot better at match time, but for some reason right now when match sponsorships is brought up. This is what comes to mind. Trane heating systems. Nippco heaters. Strickland Propane. Carhartt.
