  1. I'm shaky enough already. This is sure going to be fun to shoot and even more fun to watch.
  2. Guns and mags from Freedom Gunworks. Great work. He has a page here on Enos in the dealer forum and www.freedomgunworks.com
  3. This past weekend was a good one. Brought My Springfield out of the safe. Going to use it to finish up the season. (I start harvest in 3 weeks or so) Put close to 600 rounds through it in two days. Good practice too. Not just blasting away. Trying to force myself to shoot all A's. My New practice deck comes in very handy. Ran through several of the drills. Sunday morning I tried out Clinton County Farmers and Sportsmen Association's new steel and swinger. That was a blast.
  4. In 9mm I have Kimber 9rnd, Metalform 9 and 10 rnd and Wilson 10 rnd ETM. The 9 rnd Metalform and The Wilsons run 100% for me. In my Kimber the Wilson's are hard to seat with 10 rnds in the mag till it gets broken in. My only trouble with the Metalform 10 rounders is it does not lock the slide back about 30% of the time.
  5. -Super Troopers (still waiting for super troopers II) -300 -Indiana Jones (not the new one) -Space Balls -Quigly Down Under
  6. No USPSA or IDPA this weekend the only thing to do with shooting this weekend I did was go to the Buckeye Big Buck Banquet on Saturday night. That turned out pretty well. My buck that I shot last fall scored 3rd Typical in the state of Ohio and 2nd with a muzzleloader. It scored 175 0/8. First place was 178 0/8. Was not far off. The practice cards came Friday. I've been looking through them this weekend. Cant wait to start using them. Thank you Bobby.
  7. Good luck. "Shake and bake"
  8. Pulled the trigger on a live round for the first time since MRPC at the end of July. Dryfiring DOES work. I just did some basic work but my transitions went very smooth (in comparison to before). I'm going to do A lot more of the "free practice" now. Thank you Pharaoh Bender.
  9. Congrats on the B. I'm going to be in northern Ohio Sunday morning so unfortunately can't make it to MRPC.
  10. Thank you Bobby. Ill write "deer huntin stuff" on the box. They will never find it.
  11. This IS a good idea. Thanks guys for all the support. The vacation was great. I want to go back. 0 humidity. Highs in the 70's. Thank you Bobby. I will put them to good use.
  12. My inner dialogue starts talking with my gun, makes it angry and starts malfunctioning. Then I become super human. For the rest of the stage after my mind tells my finger to squeeze the trigger I say to myself "Is it gonna go" "Is it gonna go" "Oh crap its not" BANG "wheeeew it worked" "where the hell did that shot go?" "were you even looking at the sights or the gun?" "I wish I could think this fast when a dodgeball is coming at my face"

I Have been watching others post on their diary and thought that its a good idea. Well after sever years of not really going anywhere with my shooting I received an amazing opportunity. I picked up a sponsorship from Freedom Gunworks. I am going to take this seriously. I just got back from vacation. (a very good one) Everyday I spent no less than 2 hours every day dry firing. So the process is started. I'll post my progress and screw ups. please feel free to critique anything and everything
  14. I think most blade tech holsters with the tension screws will work just fine on rail guns. Just adjust it till it fits.
  15. They run great in my Kimber. Very easy to download. My only complaint (very very small one) is until the springs get broke in they are tough to get seated with 10 rounds in them. Sure that will fix itself soon
  16. Nobody skips a Conrad match that has shot one before. They are too fun to miss. Ill be there.
  17. This is one of the greatedt breakthroughs I've ever had shooting. Actually watching the front sight come up and back down is just great. Now my next step is to learn to call my shots. I know if its left, right, high or low but not how far off the mark it is.
  18. Good luck Bill. Hope to see you shooting again soon
  19. I run shok buffs in all my 1911's. Never a problem yet and I can feel the recoil reduction.
  20. I bought my Edge from Dawson in September of 07. Great very very accurate firearm. Trigger was too heavy but it was clean. I put a triglide trigger kit in it and now I love it. +1 on the tuned mags. I had Bobby Keigans Of Freedom Gunworks tune my STI mags and they are awesome. 21+1 to start and 20 reloadable and 100% reliable. Once you get your Edge get it the way you like it and get some tuned mags you will be very happy.
  21. I'm still not completly over it yet but it's getting better. Dry firing did not do a thing for me either. It was just standing behind other shooters and watching their guns recoil without blinking. Then just forcing my eyes open while shooting my own gun.
  22. Just Kidding. That gun does run great. It's kicked my butt in a few matches.
  23. There is that Canadian math. I'm guessing at the current exchange that would be 63% in American percentages.
  24. I believe i had a breakthrough the other weekend shooting of all things a IDPA classifier match. Half way through the second stage I broke a shot that was low and to the left. The next thing I know I saw the front sight rise up out of the notch and come back down. I hardly ever see that. Almost always blink. It really surprised me. I paused waited for the sights to completely settle and broke another shot, the same thing. I actually saw the front sight lift and fall back. For the rest of that stage about 60% of the shots I kept my eyes open, and about 75% on the third stage. My score was not very good but after seeing the sights I went at a snails pace just to watch the sights. I'm not really sure what made this happen. I have been trying everything. The only thing different I have been doing different is watching the sights of other people shoot. I never blinked or flinched watching someone else shoot, I just kept telling myself if I don't blink watching an open gun then there is no reason for me to flinch shooting minor. Just thought I would pass this on.
