So ... What holster are you running with this? Recently picked one up, and have "claimed" my sight plate waiting on it to come in. I was just curious what the other owners of the 92x RDO were running for holsters?

Covid-19 (Corona Virus)

My nephew had it ... mid-20s ... mild flu-like symptoms. He was more frustrated by quarantine than the illness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Mag tuning will fix this problem. I had the same thing on my Czechmate, and sent the mags to Grams ... poof ... problem solved. As I understand it, on the CZ is the fact that the magazines tolerances are the same for 40 and 9mm TS bodies, which allows some slop when you run the big sticks with reduced springs. Just a little magazine tuning fixes the problem area, and the problem goes away.

New to Shadow 2, any videos of polishing inside parts?
tomfturner replied to minnesota1's topic in CZ
There's an entire thread CZ tuning with professor Atlas. A quick search should yield the results you're looking for, and it has a lot of good information. -
The other addition would be to put the larger safety from czc on there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Springs -mag springs - trigger return spring - firing pin spring - extractor spring - hammer spring - recoil spring and parts Extra fiber for your sights. Lock-tite ... you never know when you’ll need that. If you carry a full spring replacement kit, you’ll have a lot of peace of mind, even if you don’t need them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

broken powder measure
tomfturner replied to tomfturner's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Yeah I’ve got the new part in to replace, and I’m going to get some better pictures of it. Dillon did take care of it, so that’s a good thing. If it’s on a 1050 the warranty is only 1 year though, so that’s what was going on there. Assume that it’s part of the press. When I get everything replaced I’ll get better pictures. Sent from my etch-a-scetch. -
broken powder measure
tomfturner replied to tomfturner's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I can't speak to what they should and/or shouldn't do, because all I can tell is what they DID do. Which was charged me 35$ for a part. Maybe the Dillon rep that watches the forum will get on and be able to straighten out WHY. That being said, I agree that this shouldn't be the case because this same powder measure is the part I pulled off my old 650. When I sold it, I gave the guy I sold it to my new 1050 measure (because I didn't want to have to re-setup my powder throw). I've bought 3 complete 1050 conversions with powder measures, but I started this thread to see if 1.) anybody else has had a measure break like this, and 2.) see how it was handled. -

broken powder measure

Based on my current 35$ charge I’d bet you’re wrong, but that really doesn’t answer my question of has this happened to anyone else? Sent from my etch-a-scetch. -

While I agree I don't think it is with the 1050 maybe someone from Dillon will get on an set me straight either way ... it's the first time between my reloader (previous 650 and 1050) I've seen this. I figure it's a metallurgy issue. -
I was just wondering if anyone else had ever broken a powder measure body. I had my first powder measure break yesterday along the bottom ring below the clamp. As it's on my 1050 I'll be charged for a new measure (which I expect), but I was wondering if anyone else had broken a measure in a similar manner?

Maybe I'm missing them, but I don't see a TTI option for p320 base pads. ????

Question for you all on a holster setup for my son
tomfturner replied to champ198's topic in Steel Challenge
As has been mentioned here already the M&P 15-22 is a good rifle option and any of the big 3 rimfire pistols (Browning Buckmark, S&W Victory, Ruger 22/45 or Mark IV) would be good options. There are no requirements for holster in steel challenge, you could also look into the NSSF Rimfire matches as well. Depending on his strength and size I'd recommend a 22/45 Lite til you know what he really wants to do that would be a good choice. The advantage of the M&P 15-22 is that it allows him to grow with it. Hope any of this helps.
