  1. The RMR MW’s cut clean holes in paper. I actually prefer them over the MPR (Nukes). They had a 10% discount running in Dec. So check their Facebook account for occasional sales.
  2. Alliant was sold to the Czechs last week. Don’t know if that will effect the supply chain. There’s also 2 wars going on. I haven’t seen Unique for sale in a year.
  3. I own every powder mentioned so far. But what I’m presently using the most of is Autocomp. 5gr under a 124 Match Winner is a pleasant range load to shoot.
  4. This can happen when the CAPD return spring isn’t attached. But squibs are nearly always the result of operator error.
  5. You’ve posted this at TheHighRoad minutes earlier. ‘Cross posting’ the same thread across multiple forums is poor Internet etiquette. https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/advice-on-9mm-load.921213/
  6. Yeah, they raised prices an alarming amount. Might as well buy HAP’s now.
  7. Bring back the 2oz tubs…..please. I bought the BE anodized alloy caddy designed to perfectly fit them.
  8. Operator error. And I would suggest disposing of the FCD in the dumpster.
  9. Maybe they're suppose to break...like a shear bolt on farm equipment. Anyway, OEM's are back in stock. https://czcustom.com/cz-p01-slide-stop.html
  10. Initially, the S2 had issues with cracked frames. The next year, the Black and Blue model was released which made minor changes to the frame. If the original S2 came with buffers, I don't remember...maybe they did. I use them on my gen 2 S2's. I don't think it really makes a world of difference.
  11. The Lee Universal decapper has no problems with Norma brass. And it actually enlarges the flash hole.
  12. I find it interesting that Tom Selleck has fans in the Netherlands. Wasn't Magnum PI like 40 years ago?
  13. Every once in awhile I run into a case that’s too long. Here’s a S&B 9mm that’s grossly out of spec. But rather than trim, I just throw them in the dumpster. The photo below is actually one that's was too short....I guess I threw the long one away already.
  14. His most accurate load is with N350 (or was). https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/czechpistols82792/9mm-loading-revlation-t13968.html

    Slide Stops

Both my S2’s have two-piece brazed slide stops. I haven’t broken one yet, but for backups I bought Eemann Tech’s solid one piece stops. https://dealer.eemann-tech.com/en/et-cz-75/4645-eemann-tech-solid-slide-stop-for-cz-shadow-2-2000000046457.html
  16. The U die is not meant to resurrect garbage brass. And as depicted in the photo, can make it even worse. It's purpose is to size the case 2 or 3 thousandths below SAAMI specification so ammunition will feed in a tight chamber. In rare instances, it may improve neck tension but only in cases that are thin walled. Brass is the least expensive component of reloading. I don't understand why people are hell bent on using every single piece they scrounge off the ground.
  17. Roll sizing is the process of scavenging garbage brass. Any case that can not be properly size using a standard die belongs in the dumpster. But if you’re that hard-up for brass….go for it.
  18. They are not required and can cause reliability and feeding problems. Furthermore, the use of undersized dies with rollsized cases can create ammunition below SAAMI specifications which can also be unsafe. This isn't an opinion or a testimonial. It's what the manufacturer printed in their manuals.
  19. Norma does this to enhance ignition. Lee's universal decapper has no problem with the smaller holes. But my Reddings do. They're not worth messing with so they go in the dumpster.
  20. I bet he's Mr. Popular at the local indoor range.
  21. At first glance I thought you were asking about a CZ. I see now it's a Ruger.
  22. Back in Oct, CZC had them for $1650. I believe the 9's were the same price too.
  23. "Perfecta" (made by Fiocchi) was a house brand of sorts from Walmart. WM stopped selling handgun ammo in '19 but I believe Cheaper than Dirt carried it as well. I've never heard or seen "Projecta".....is that the correct spelling?
