  1. Kudos to you too Bill - but then again...we expected you to have a great run. Glad I could witness both of these exceptionally good runs. I think that RO was trying to steal your power....he might have actually snatched a bit of it come to think of it...
  2. First I'm the good luck charm for Jake and now Chris... Good meeting you Chris. Congratulations! Now if you'll just shave your head, pickup a wheelgun, and cut about 5" off the top you'll be just like my hero and your uncle Sam. There are some other unspeakable things that have to do with Ramer, TN but you'll have contact Uncle Sam Keen to get those gory details. I certainly didn't make GM but I shot a good run right after you left but with the wheelgun (great for me anyway.) 7.00 sec, all A's
  3. How's that for dedication to the BEnos Universe! WELCOME BACK NICK> Last I heard he was off serving the country. Glad you made it back from whatever sand pit you've been hanging out in.
  4. Congratulations! Very impressive move to the top these past two years.
  5. A wheelgunner making up shots! What the heck is the world coming to?
  6. PS - When you return, bring Rhino back with you...
  7. Take a few days/weeks off and relax. If the person you accidentally offended can't take it then they can leave as well. Sometimes the best communication is no communication for a short period of time. It all blows over and hurt feelings mend. If not, well - screw'em. If you really meant to upset someone then that's one thing but if you apologize and they still won't let it go then you're definitely not the problem. Don't sweat it buddy. We all get passionate and things get taken out of context or we say silly things from time to time. They'll cool down too and then all will be forgiven. The forum is for learning. I'm sure both of you have learned something new whether you actually intended to learn what you did or not. Come back soon, come back later....just come back eventually. Steve
  8. You did tape it! I got witnesses man, I got witnesses! That crowd can be bought! All I need is a big bag of ice...
  9. Thankfully they came out. What no one has mentioned was that SA made that run on 06-03 after getting a squib on the second to last target of the stage just before. He was lucky that the two other rounds that he tried to jack into the chamber wouldn't fit. That would have rattled me just a bit. Way to put it behind you and power through. Very cool.
  10. Cut me deep man, cut me deep... I can't speak for Lefty45 but I'm doing my part to ensure you're the only Ohio M in revolver.
  11. I felt pretty bad about this one. I was on the timer when Anderson did his 5.61 second stage. Watching him shoot, I was sure he didn't have a miss. But, there was just no indication whatsoever of a 5th hit on that target. I swear I didn't paste it! No matter what Shooter Grrl says.... It was a ridiculous run though... I shot it with a revolver in 10.79 sec / 100 pts It was like slow motion next to Anderson's run.
  12. I can remember when Phil used to hang out with us little people. He's been whipping up on me for a year now! Congrats Phil, hope you make A class (SOON ) Btw, he won revolver at two majors last year - must be habit forming
  13. Since it's your first time and hopefully it's not blazing hot (100+, not kidding ) I'd opt for the Holiday Inn or something else in Hannibal if you can find it. The Ice House is great for a place to sleep or take a shower 10 minutes after you've baked all day in 100+ degree heat (like last year) but there is NOTHING in Barry in the way of food, etc. It's clean and cool and very close to the range but I'd not do it again just because you're going to drive to Hannibal for dinner anyway, might as well be 5 minutes from the hotel after dinner. The 20 min drive to the range in the morning gives that breakfast a chance to settle too...you'll be driving to Hannibal if you want a cooked meal in the morning too...that's 40 minutes to and from for nothing. Might as well have the room there too. There is a Walmart in Hannibal if you forget to pack a coffee maker. You'll be better served to bring a cooler, snacks, breakfast (oatmeal, etc.) and cook it up in the room. That's what I did last year. Every night I'd run in and get a steak at the local steakhouse. We'll have to hook up for dinner. I know a great place thanks to Flex and SA. Marmot452 should be up to par by then. He had his hip replaced and is doing much better. I put all of us on my squad request form.
  14. No fair Cheetahs, you passed me a year ago. You cheat by practicing! Hope to see you there. We're staying at the Holiday Inn (Hannibal, MO).
  15. Hop, Thanx - that's the closest I'll come to being number one for a long time,
  16. 1 girl, 2 boys - obviously a soccer mom. I had redmist on my Suburban then changed to my USPSA# with the new truck. It compliments my target hitch cover. Two other cool shooting ones I've seen are zerodwn and dwnzero (think IDPA)
  17. DUDE, THAT ROCKS - That was the coolest thing I've seen in a LONG time. SUPER THANKS - VERY impressive - but bad for me ...just goes to show it can be done with practice. Excellent shooting, Keith. PLEASE send more revo clips. That was too freaking cool. Did you squat, kneel, or sit on your legs? I'm afraid that is not an easy position for my legs.
  18. Personal best today with the Revo - I really don't like this one... 16.58 sec. 78 pts. HF 4.7044 Only good for a 55% I'm wondering if the HHF was set by someone that didn't reload the second time before shooting through the barrel.
  19. Add two more revolver guys (me and Marmot452). Yeeeehaaaa!
  20. Pistol Packing.com Ready Tactical "Albright" Moon-Clip Carriers. These are plastic and work pretty good.
  21. I think I'm going to bed...with my mobile phone duct taped to my head.... If you think you got in before the crash just check your USPSA classification page. Mine shows that I'm on the waiting list. Good luck folks.
  22. Me too! 12:07 it was crashed....feel lucky to have gotten on.
  23. The length of the SDM sight allows more light to be transferred to the ends. Longer fiber optic, brighter light...I started with green, switched to red. I find it stands out better on the brown targets. You don't have to switch your rear sight but you will need to determine what height you need on the front to keep a good point of aim. I had a .300" front with the stock SW rear sight but had to switch to a .250" front after putting on the Weigand rear sight. The D.A.O. 686 on the SDM website is mine. I changed the rear sight later to a Weigand blade because I liked the large, flat surface area of that model. I'm probably going to end up with Millets on all my revos because the Weigand's are a bit fragile and can get bent after a while of beating them around at matches. Check out the thread about 625 rear sights and notches...the Weigand is pretty good and is deeper than the Millet. When Randy gets his rear sight with the wide opening I'll probably switch them all over to that model.
  24. You don't shoot at Rayner's Range... . Fields of nasty steel! Ol' Rick and his Open gun were wondering why I carried all those "extra" moon clips until he saw me run through that revo-shooter meat grinder.
  25. OOHHHHHH, YEEEEAAAA! That's what I'm talking about.....Randy, I'll take four!!!
