Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Hi, Julie, and thanks. 1. IDPA usually, have shot some ICORE; 2. 5-7 times a month; 3. usually 4-6, in the past two years all with a revolver; 4. the one national I shot (IDPA) was with a revolver; 5. I would like to shoot more ICORE if it was in the area; 6. I enjoy the difficulty and the camaraderie (spelling ?) of shooting a revolver; and 7. although I have shot revolvers exclusively for the past two years, I just bought an M&P pro and am planning on competing exclusively with that this year. DMG.
  2. Gary: I really like the idea of drilling through as well. If you do it, let me know how it turns out. David G.
  3. OOPS! Although Labor Day may very well be 09/01/08, the 2nd Annual Thunder Tactical IDPA Match is in fact on 08/31/08, the day before, on Sunday. All match personnel will be setting up and shooting on Saturday. David G.
  4. Plans are proceeding for the the 2nd Annual Thunder Tactical Labor Day Match, September 1st, 2008, south of Conroe, Texas. Details (price, application, etc.) to follow. Those who shot at last years match can attest to how smoothly the match went (last shot was fired about 1pm), and with Steve Vandermolen as the Match Director this year we are looking for more of the same! David G.
  5. How are they different, and how do they compare, from/with Safariland III's? And what are the handles you are referring to? What would be the price per unit for Model 252's? David G.
  6. Yeah, sounds real concealable and tactical...... Mike: There was no reason for you to make the above comment. Bones' reply answered the original poster's question, which did not ask for one that was "real concealable and tactical". No reason to disparage another revolver shooter's game or choice of equipment, even if you do not choose to play that game. DMG.
  7. I have done business with Ready Tactical several times. They have an excellent product line, although their delivery can be slow, and it is frustrating not being able to get ahold of a live body (or even an answering machine) to talk to. DMG.
  8. Or an L-frame w/ 4" barrel for SSR.
  9. I am wanting to put a fiber optic sight on my 686. I looked at the SDM, but it looks a tad too long. For those who have them an their 686, what do you have, how do you like them, and did you need to replace the rear sight as well and, if so, to what?
