I'm in a similar situation with a 9mm barrel. Chamber seems fine but TC lead bullets hit the lands before the round fully seats. Do I need one of Pacific Tool and Guage Uni-Throater? Will that allow me to lengthen the throat a little?

I'd like to take a little of the edge off the front of the chamber. Other than a emery cloth with a Dremel does anyone make a tool to do this that doesn't lengthen the chamber?

Remember the old pin gins with a port where the front wall was ramped at a 45 angle. would this work with the low pressure of a minor load? Seems like they were all the rage back when 45 comp guns were being used.

Which brings up another point of interest. Is there anyone out there that would manufacture a one off bolt-on comp for a S&W 627?

This would be used in ICORE Open with a 125-130pf load. I KNOW, the effect wouldn't be much so I don't need eduction on that topic. This is my wife's gun and any recoil reduction is better. The only reference I have is a couple of shooters who have had it done and say it made a little difference. I'm going to get it done but my question is, does anyone have real world experience on the different types of porting offered? 2 trapezoid ports or 4 trapezoid ports

I like this combo. Is the factory recoil set-up rated at 17lbs?

Does anyone make a reduced power G23 recoil assembly? Would a G19 gen 4 result in a spring reduction? What do the numbers on the base tell me? The Gen 4 extended mag releases don't appear to add much meat. Is it enough that you can feel it?

+ on the trigger and hammer pins. I had to send 2 back to S&W before I learned my lesson. Sheared those trigger pins right off.
