  3. Prayers sent for your coworker, her son and her entire family... please keep us posted. I'm so sorry.
  4. Just got an email our 6,000 WSP primers are on the way from Cabela's! We put in our order in early March. Good things come to those who wait.... (and wait, and wait, and wait)
  5. I'll be in Austin, TX August 16-19 for meetings for work. Staying and meeting on the north side of the city in Jollyville (?) but I am renting a car. I don't have a ton of free time, but I want to take advantage of being in a new place as much as I can. Keep in mind I'm traveling alone, so while I would love to visit that "great little restaurant in the sketchier part of town, but with food worth the trip", I probably don't need to venture there on this trip. So, whatcha got? I'm a big foodie, so I definitely want tips on where to eat. Plus if there are some sites/areas that I just HAVE to visit, I wanna know. Thanks in advance! Susan
  6. Over the past 16 months of shooting USPSA with my hubby, I've had numerous guys come up to me and say, "I wish my wife would come out here and shoot with me!". I've given lots of thought to what you might do to encourage her to join you on the range. This article perhaps sums it up better than any other one I've seen. Read it, study it, and next time you ask your gal to go shooting, maybe you'll get a "YES"! And while you're at it, have her subscribe to The WON's news letter... It's a great informational tool geared towards women in the sport and it's free! Click Here for article. **Mods, please move this to another thread if this isn't the right location. Thanks!
  7. Working on my list - this is hard! But at the top would HAVE to be Led Zepplin II... 1) Led Zepplin II 2) Allman Brothers "Eat a Peach" 3) The Police "Synchronicity" 4) Alan Jackson "Greatest Hits v. II" 5) Gonna have to think on the last one! What a good thread... thanks BE!
  8. Yes, we'll take it, please. Pics from Central Texas..... "Lake Travis"..... The Pedernales River, usually "big river".... Ryan For someone from GA, those pics strike close to home. That looks alot like pics of Lake Lanier (and many others around our state) over the past couple of years. Luckily, we are on the tail end of our drought and some places (including where I live) are officially OUT of the drought! I'm traveling to Austin in a couple of weeks and will see if I can't bring a little rain with me.
  9. +1 for this one... I use the Windows version at work (bank) to upload customer files for statement processing. I've used it for about 3 years and haven't had the first problem!
  10. Sounds as close to the perfect day as most of us will ever get! I had the opportunity to attend a Babes with Bullets class in Phoenix at Rio Salado. Kippi Leatham was one of the instructors and she's so down-to-earth. On our last day at camp, TGO was at the range hauling props around. It's very impressive to see folks who are famous (at least in our sport) sweating it out with the rest of us! Hope the rest of your day is just as good as the 1st part was!
  11. I can't wait! Bobby and I are postponing the store Grand Opening by a couple of weeks so we can shoot this match- it's THAT good! And Ronnie, I'll fight you for Cheryl's brownies!
  12. YAY! I'm so glad you've come to your senses and chosen the best Southern state there is! We will welcome you and Steph with open arms, good 'ol home cooking and all the pistol & rifle shooting you could possibly want. I'll tell Bobby to get your Pandora can ready!
  13. I like the hat-drawing idea myself. All 3 of those BE members (G-Man, HSmith, and Sam) are SO deserving of the honor and it would be a hard decision for us as members to truly choose the "BEST" one. Let's let fate decide through a drawing, instead!
  14. For the logo, I like either the 2nd or 3rd one (can't tell much difference between the 2 of them). The 1st and 4th are too... chaotic? Otherwise though, I think they look great! For someone without a lot of Photoshop experience, "you done good, man!" (Yes, I'm from the South and that is proper English)
  15. Hard Chroming offered here... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85212
  16. I'm particularly fond (errr, jealous) of the Wine Cellar myself! Congrats and good luck on the move!
  17. Just cast my vote (for you 1st of course!). Can't wait to hear how the results turn out!
  18. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard.... does she know how to use her "inside voice"?!?
  19. Yeah, I've already got one in my "gift closet" for my dad for Christmas!
  20. :roflol: Bobby is on one end of the couch with his laptop and I'm on the other with mine. He can't even post on Enos because I'm laughing so hard and distracting him! I missed this thread when it was originally started, so thanks Cy for bringing it back to the forefront. BTW, your new puppy is precious!
  21. Boz, I'll say a little prayer for you tonight that everything goes well tomorrow. I can't wait to hear about the results- just think, after today you won't have to deal with that annoying "glasses fogging" thing that occurs, especially in the summer, when you go from a A/C cooled room out into the blazing humid heat!
  22. My deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family. You are all in our prayers.
  23. :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:
  24. Happy Birthday, Stoney! Our "Doodlebug" (part Pekingese/ part Poodle) turned 2 last month. She's only been with us a little over a year and already we don't know what we'd do without her. He sounds like a wonderful dog and a great companion!
