  1. SSR - MM by classifier. I (unintentionally) shoot classifiers very poorly. It's the only time I ever get nervous while on the clock. It is for that reason I've just about decided if I ever move to a higher classification, it'll be by way of a bump at a major.
  2. The same thing happened the other day with my 686SSR. I cut a piece of paperclip to length to fit inside the spring to keep it from compressing any more than it needs to to function.
  3. Thanks...I was tempted to do the kitchen sink thing, actually. Gotta grab some silicone spray tomorrow and clean 'em up before Saturday.
  4. What's the best way to clean comp-3 speedloaders?
  5. I'll pass that along to my friend...thanks.
  6. Another vote for the Ready Tactical speedloader carriers.
  7. It's stock 'cept for springs. All he told me was that the trigger wouldn't reset. I didn't get a chance to play with it myself.
  8. A friend just ordered 4 of them and two wouldn't work in one of his Glocks.
  9. I use MTM boxes I purchased at Academy Sports. I'm not extremely pleased with how the .223 boxes fit, but for 9mm and .38 special they're fine.
  10. Midway's expected ship date is now 5/9/09.
  11. I stand. My 550 is mounted at your normal kitchen cabinet height on a strong mount.
  12. I've had mine on backorder with SWFA for a while now. I have a DMS-1 just waiting for it. ETA- Just check with midway and the expected release date is now 4/15/09 (SWFA doesn't have a release date listed). C'mon, Burris, get these released.
  13. Chris still makes revolver gear (I bought mine about a month ago) it's just that none of his distributors seem to carry it.
  14. The gun is nice...but that case is freakin' sweet!
  15. Didn't think about that...thanks for the heads up.
  16. I like the Ready Tactical pouches...if you can find them.
  17. I think it's just the angle. My support-hand thumb is below the cylinder and JUST behind the B/C gap...I think that's what you're seeing. I've got huge hands, and this round gun with its smaller grip has taken some getting used to compared to the Glocks that I've been shooting for a couple years now. I will be experimenting with different grips and grip materials as time goes on, but for now I'm just trying to get the basics down pat so I'll actually know what I need before buying.
  18. No problem, man. I forgot to add that little tidbit and I forget that most of the folks on this forum are USPSA folks.
  19. I'll have to work on that. I kinda go in one motion, though, once the rounds are lined up with the cylinder.
