Maybe I'm cheap, but $59 seems a bit expenive for such a small part IMO. Yes, I know it's a machined part, but so is Lone Wolf's and it's on $16. There's also nothing that says this is the fix for the BTF issue either that I have seen. I would hope at their price point that it would fix the problem, but I'll hold out till I start seeing people that are running these report back that the issue is fixed. Not trying to start anything, just my thoughts on the matter.
  2. +1. I'm preferring the Gen 4's over the Gen 3 guide rod system.

    My finished SP01...

I normally ran grip tape on my Glocks and I would say that for me, these grips are just as grippy. My hands sweat a lot and during my 250 rounds today, I did not experience any grip issues and was able to hold on to the pistol quite well. I would recommend them . I thought about the grip tape grips when I bought these, but I'm happy with my choice.
  4. They worked fine while I had them. I'm no longer shooting M&P's, so I don't own one anymore with these sights. Hope this helps...I forgot all about them and this thread until today...lol

    My finished SP01...

Thanks. Sights are nice and install was a breeze. The front blade is thinner than I have used in the past. Front sight is very easy to pick up and CGW provides you with green and red fibers so you can see which one works best for you. So far, very impressed with them. I finally got to shoot the gun today since I added everything. DA trigger pull is much lighter and smoother, SA is smooth and lighter, and the gun functioned flawlessly with 115gr WWB, 115gr Independence, and 124gr Augulia FMJ ammo. I didn't have any light strikes when I put 250 rounds through it this morning. Very pleased thus far with the changes I've made to this pistol.

    SP01 Sights

Pics or it didn't happen! Here are some pics from my post down below this one titled, "Finished my SP01." Finished my SP01

    SP01 Sights

I put the CGW sights on my SP01. Front sight tapped right in and was already set up for the front sight pin. Rear sight install was easy as well. I did have to file some on the bottom of the rear sights till it slid in the dovetail half way per the instructions. It only took a few passes with a flat file to do this. Once it slid in half way, I just tapped it in the rest of the way with the punch CGW provides with the sights. The instructions detail how to install everything and it took about 2 minutes to remove the old sights and install the new.

    My finished SP01...

My recently finished project. Modifications include: CGW #13 main spring CGW extended FP CGW reduced power FP spring CGW reduced power FPB spring CGW #11 recoil spring CGW sights Hogue Extreme red aluminum grips Really like this gun and plan on using it for USPSA next year or IDPA (maybe...depends on the rules). Everything was real easy to install. Now I need to get back out to the range and shoot it some more.
  9. I think the IDPA should adopt the rule like USPSA has where you have to stay within 2oz of the gun's original weight...just my two cents.

Start with a #13 main spring, extended firing pin, reduced power firing pin spring, reduced power firing pin block spring, sights, and grips. You can go lighter on the main spring, but it may limit the ammo you can shoot reliably. Cajun Gunworks, or CZ Custom shop, or there are some members on this board that can help you with getting the parts.
  11. They look pretty good and it sounds like install is pretty straight forward. I got my #13 main spring, extended FP, reduce power FPB spring, and reduced power FP spring. Now I just need to figure out what grips I want to get. I like the rubber ones that are on it, but really like the looks of those aluminum grip tape grips. This pistol is going to make me go broke...lol
  12. I just ordered a set of CGW sights for my SP01. I was wondering if anyone here uses them and if so, what is your opinion of them? Link to sights, CGW sight set. Thanks
  13. I have no clue, but I would be a happy camper if they did. I love my SP01 and just installed CGW springs and would love to run it in IDPA without having to reduce any weight or sacraficing anything else. Surely someone must know something on this.
