  1. I just started a thread in the 9mm section. The newer 16055 is slower. It's a tad slower than TG in my CZ. I'd say 10-15 FPS slower. I'm going to have to try 3.4-3.5 gr with a 147 gr Xtrme to hopefully get up to 130 pf.
  2. All 10 of my bottles are the newer, slower batch. I've chronoed 30 rnds out of my SP-01 and they averaged 842 FPS. 3.2 PV 147 Xtrme @ 1.135". I was able to get quite a bit more velocity out of my Tanfo Lim Pro but the CZ isn't as fast. I'm gonna try 3.4 and 3.5 and see if that gets me 890 average. Anyone working with the 16055 batch and CZ barrels?
  3. Well,.. injust another shadow. So, maybe next year I'll make the switch to the S2 Hopefully they'll be legal and available.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

From what I hear the Exteme models aren't worth buying unless your shoot IPSC. Any regular Tanfo can be made to have a nicer trigger than the extreme models for a few hundred less. I sold my Tanfo so I'm not a fan boy but I feel folks haven't had the proper experience with a good tuned Tanfo! I also didn't feel mine was primer sensitive at all. CZ are more accurate, have better mag well but I feel the trigger pull is better on the Tanfo.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

I had a Limited Pro and the DA trigger pull was awesome! I'd say better than any CZ I've shot or handled. That's an opinion of course but I preferred the feeling of the Tanfo pull. It took some work to get it there but the CZ require a little work too. I wish they would have redesigned or copied the Tanfo trigger bar support as well as the hammer spring set up. It took me a while to get used to it but now I like it better the way the Tanfo does it. Im probably in the minority on that though. I'm not a fan of the CZ trigger bar lifter spring or the mag release spring. I understand why cz kept it the same though.
  7. Just found my first makarov tonight. At least the forst one that I caught. What would happen if I shot it? Light strike?
  8. Exactly what I was thinking.
  9. Rowdy, I've been interested in hearing your account of the match. I didn't think it was overly critical or negative towards anyone. Now, my question for you is, how did you not get DQ'd at equipment check? I've heard (on the internet) that one CZ shooter got DQ'd because he couldn't put the thumb safety on with the hammer down! He supposedly got a call from the AC or MD (can't remember) after the match and they told him he was wrongly DQ'd. He was allowed to shoot but for no score. The call came after the first hour so his non score stood. He said he had a good match too. Not not sure if any of that is true but man would that suck!
  10. I know. Just wondering why he gave it? I guess the shooters muzzle was little high and could have been close to be pointed over the berm?
  11. Yes. As long as you don't add/change the outside edges. I think flaring is the word I've heard used from DNORI. You cant flare the outside edges.
  12. CZ has so many variations but the 75 and SP-01 variants that have DA/SA triggers, fit in the box and make weight are good for SSP. Tactical sprort and Shadow 2 are too heavy. CTS may be too long. The polymer CZ's, though not Shadows, should good to go assuming they meet all the requirements. You can do trigger jobs as long as you don't make so th trigger sits forward or rearward of where it would stock. So polish, sand, stone, replace springs. You can replace triggers and hammers with any other trigger/hammer as long as it's a drop in part that comes stock on another SSP legal CZ.
  13. I used classifiercalc last week because azshooters wasn't working for me either. It was spot on to the numbers that showed up on USPSA.
  14. I've shot 2# of n320. While it wasnt as dirty as TG, it didn't seem like it was "clean" either. My load data 3.1 N320 Xtreme 147 OAL 1.135" Differnt primers Different guns.
  15. You guys see that video comparing the Shadow 2 to the Tanfo? They kept saying the grip is bigger on the ..........CZ! What?! Yeah, I guess the Lim Pro isn't worth thier time to import anymore? Too bad. Sweet gun!
  16. when the S2 becomes readily available? During my brief trial period with the Tanfo Lim Pro, I passed up getting in fairly early on pre order list for the shadow 2. So now I'm trying to decide if I should pick up an Accushadow or just wait. I'm guessing if I wait for the S2, it may be a while. I have a shadow orange but feel I need a backup for USPSA. I'm tempted to buy the next Accushadow I come across but think if I just wait a few months, there will be a lot of used ones being sold at low prices. Thoughts?
  17. Not sure you caught the humor in my description?
  18. Not a question, but I thought it was a great artical!
  19. I've shot several thousands (reloaded) of plated and coated. I've had good experiences with Xtreme. I found them easier to load than coated. Maybe it was me? Anywyas, the cost of Xtreme has now reached the cost of jacketed. Once I'm out of my plated supply, I will be going to jacketed. I don't know that one is really more accurate by itself. I've always heard that coated or jacketed is supposed to be but I think it's more of a consistency and properly loaded round issue. If over crimped, plated bullets will have issues. So, if saving a couple bucks isn't the driving factor when choosing bullets, I'd suggest jacketed.

    ESP legal?

Also, I just checked, it was me an you discussing this on the other forum. We were talking about my 3gun.

    ESP legal?

Well, I'll admit I got my guns confused. Ha. I have the DVC 3gun. I apologize for the discrepancy in my information. The point was about the slide cuts. The gun I was told about did make weight, and it fit in the box. The only questionable issue is specifically about the factory cutouts being a non-permitted feature per 8.2.2.3. I asked HQ and was told no. Then 8.2.2.3 was quoted. They may need to update that rule. It does say features. Not just modifications.

    ESP legal?

Not trying to be rude or negative against IDPA. Just wondering. I had someone tell me on another forum they shot this gun at nationals but also had someone very reputable tell me it's not legal because of 8.2.2.3.

    ESP legal?

How is this not legal and the G34 would be? Specifically asking about the slide cutouts.
