    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

I think it's the hammer spring that makes for a creepy SA. That's what my trigger finger notices. I know the feeling about being annoyed by something. I promise you I'm as bad as anyone! For instance I HATE the slide contour and cocking serrations on the S2! Do I really "hate" them?! I might! Ok not really. Though, I prefer the way it's done on other guns.

    CZ Shadows 2 is coming

I feel like when you lower the hammer spring to reduce the DA pull it amplifies the SA creep of the factory hammer. The S2 disco does have more take up than an after market. Still not even close to a glock IMO. But sometimes disappointment in something can make you want to describe it worse than it is. I'd like to hear how folks out there compare the recoil of the S2 vs S1?
  3. Look on the bottles. They'll list the batch number. 16055 is what I've got and is slower.
  4. What batch of Prima V do you have? It looks like you got the slower batch.
  5. ESP would be cool as anything goes. Except compensators. I mean who carries a 5" STI with a magwell? I'm sure someone out there does but I'm sure someone out there carries a desert eagle too! why worry about weight or other mods?
  6. Nope! I think we're (probably me) are arguing about agreeing. Not gonna lie. I'm not really reading everything you're saying since I'm not really worried about it being legal. As for the 34, 8.2.2.3 could be used to say a gun with factory slide cutouts, for the purpose of slide lightening, is not allowed. It says features and list the ones allowed. So, I was just saying that per that rule the 34 doesn't seem to be legal but we know it is. I was agreeing with you. Not seeing how 8.1.2-A has anything to do with slide cutouts. Anyways, not trying to go back and forth so,... I think the Accushadow is ESP legal so I'm gonna leave it at that.
  7. Love that holster! I've been saying that for a while now. I'm Ricky Bobby!
  8. Glock 34! Microphone drop. I was told in person that the Accushadow is now ESP legal. I know I'm just some guy on the internet so I understand not taking my word as fact. That's why I've said contact the MD for any match you'd want to shoot it in. Copy the AC. If they haven't heard about it ask them to contact HQ. There really doesn't need to be anymore discussing of rules and is it or isn't it.
  9. Which is allowed/specifically called out in the rules.
  10. Not sure why folks are still debating this. If you want to shoot it, contact your MD/AC. If they're still thinking it's not allowed, ask them to contact HQ and verify. This should solve any issues.
  11. I've tried scales, LOK Bogies and palm swell VZ Diamond Backs. The VZ's are the most aggressive IMO.
  12. Sounds like I'm on the right track.
  13. You guys like to squad with better shooters? Some do. Some don't. So, your signing up for a LV2 match and it'll be you and one or two of your buddies from your club. Would you try to get on a squad with better shooters? Or ones ranked higher if you don't know them?
  14. I do. I'm on a waiting list. Gonna call them up and pass on it. It's sweet. Just got everything for my S1's already running. Really no need to switch right now. Or whenever it becomes USPSA legal. I'll just wait until next year.
  15. I do feel like TG was the most accurate out of the powders I've used. Just slightly. N320, TG and Prima V. All used with 147 .356 Xtrme.
  16. Doesn't seem to be bad. It's way better than 8" at 20 yds I can tell you that. I haven't benched tested it but I've shot some off hand and have had some 3"-5" groups at 25-40 yds.
  17. Shot some more yesterday. I just noted the average and the Low. I do remember that the SD was around 8. Chrono 3.4 Prima V w/147 xtreme .356 Shadow orange 10 shot average 890 Lo 877 Accu Shadow 10 shot average 890 Lo 873 Shadow 2 10 shot average 900 Low 877 3.4 Prima V w/147 zeros .355 Shadow Orange 8 shot average 893 Lo 885 I was surprised that the jacketed zeros seemed to shoot the same velocity as the plated. I wonder if it's because they're .355 and the plated we're .356?
  18. No joke. You could shoot it out of the box. DA is about 8# but is smooth!
  19. I shot my shadow 2 a little more today. It's very nice! I think it's the best factory offering I've had experience with but I'm not gonna switch to it this year. I'm gonna stick with my shadow 1's and will be selling the S2.
  20. I had a Lim Pro. I'll give you my feeling on what's comparable of the two. Where CZ wins mag well for reloads on the clock. checkering front/back strap Replaceable bushing Since your Tanfo is already tweaked I didn't mention the CZ is set up better form the factory. I feel trigger pull is so subjective and for me is pretty close to equal between the two. The only thing I'd say I'm not a fan of on the new Shadow 2 is the slide profile and cocking serration combo. IMO they went for look over function with the cocking serrations. I'd guess they profiled like they did for weight savings? I can't compare the weight/balance between the two though. Never held/shot a stock 3. Though, I'd guess it's very similar. I just remembered there's a video comparIng the two. Search YouTube.
  21. Guess I'm in the minority. I felt the Tanfo was easier. Never had to remove the grips. No mag break. No detent tabs.
  22. At the risk of not knowing what I'm talking about, nitride is not a coating. It's a teatment and I'd guess (watch out) that it doesn't add anything externally. I think you're right about it not hiding anything and requiring additional prepping or clean up.
