Rowdy -Prima V may be worth a shot. Cheap, cool and WAY cleaner than TG! Though you'll need to do a lot of test throws to get it settled. It's very consistent once you get it settled. The other day at the shootout, before they chronoed my ammo I called out 885. It was 884. The second shot was 885. Lucky guess but I knew it'd be somewhere around there. I always get a SD of like 7-9. Everytime. I've chronoed it 4 times. Now, saying that, it seems some batches get a little more FPS than others. I've apparently got the slower batch 16055. 3.4gr with a 147 xtreme gets me 890 (10 shots) average out of my shadows.

Rowdy, sorry man. I'm no help on why yours isn't throwing consistent. Though, I do load up towards the top like someone said. I also throw a lot then weigh, then adjust, then throw a lot of pulls, then weigh. Until I get it where I need it. After that, injust weigh to ensure it's still where I want it. Maybe load the hoper at leasr 3/4 of the way. Then do about 20 pulls to try and settle the powder. Then pull on a separate, freshly sized case and weigh that. Then adjust for more or less powder and then do several more "settling" throws. Usually takes me around 20 mins to get mine where I want it when starting a new load. Prima V is especially bad about setttling at first.

I too went from TG to N320, for the same reasons. I got 320 to meter very consistent. I agree with rooster. I didn't find it to be as accurate as TG. I've since switched to Prima V for the same price as TG(maybe cheaper). Here's some chrono data I got with 135 plated. I know not the same Bullets you're using but my ES/SD was good. 3.7 gr N320/135 gr Xtreme CZ SP-01 Shadow Orange 11/01/16 @ 11:40 am 76 degrees Humidity 67 % Chrono 10' from muzzle. Chrono in shade w/clear view to the sky and diffusers used. 988 994 982 977 988 984 973 993 990 962 first shot Hi 994 Lo 962 Av 983 Es 32 Sd 9 I've got more chrono data (w/147's) at home but I'm pretty sure the ES/SD was similar. Weird that you're having the swings you are.

Ha ha. I do love the CZ though! seriously don't know why I want to switch back?! I think I'm just gonna do it. Cause if I don't I'm just gonna keep wanting to. Then, if I decide it was the wrong choice I can switch back. Maybe I'll learn?!

Match was a good one! I liked the faultlines. Staff was great!

Uh,........ I think about switching back all the time. Currently thinking about it. Though, not because I think the Glock is better and not because I think the Glock will get me to the next level. I really can't explain why? I don't know! So, I'd actually tell a new shooter to go for a Glock. I think they're great guns. But so are CZ's!

It takes a lot of throws before it gets consistent. Maybe 100. However, mine throws a consistent charge everytime now.

Funny I came across this. Its almost 2:00 am and I'm shooting in match tomorrow. I'm up because I've been earthing portly and I'm suffering the consequences. Hope to be able to get an hour or two before I need to get up at 5:00 am. So, my diet is need of a serious overhaul! Once that's no longer causing problems, I'd say limiting caffeine late in the day will be my next item to address. Actually, I think limiting caffeine intake and diet go hand and hand.

I've talked with a couple sponsored shooters. One or two at the very bottom of the "sponsored" level and one shooter who is one of the biggest names in the competition shooting world. Both of them really like the gear they were using/promoting! Seems like there's pros and cons. Most have already been listed here. Would I want to be sponsored? Yes. For the right deal and by the right company. Would I wear a jersey with XYZ dohickie on it for a 5% discount? Probably not. I'd like to promote stuff I really like. I do that anywyas for free!

My S2 chrono results. 3.4 Prima V (slower 16055 batch) with 147 xtreme @ 1.135" around 132 pf. 10 shot average was 900.

I'd just rather drop in the adj sear. That way if you wanted to go back to stock you don't need another sear.

It's my understanding that the factory sear would need to be fitted to the new hammer to get the manual safety to work? Some people may not be aware there'll be more work required. A CGW adjustable sear can be bought rather than altering the factory sear.

Put that DA pull aside. Look at all the features of each. Which do you like more? Go with that one! Both can be worked to have awesome DA pulls! Saying that, practice will overcome any guns DA pull! Saying THAT,....... Tanfo vs Shadow 1? I think I liked my Lim Pro DA pull (and SA) more than all but one of my Shadow 1's (Accushadow). I feel the reset is shorter (=better for me) on the shadows. But seriously, after owning several different guns, I now know it's the shooter! I guess it takes everyone a little while to really believe that.

I say yes. I have a 650 and a 1050. I only load 9mm on the 1050. 10k is a lot. I say it's worth it.

Yeah. I want aggressive checkering. I've always been a fan of 20lpi like Springfield Armory does on thier 1911's.

I'd bet the big names get bombarded with questions. Maybe that's why they try to squad them all together, as best they can, at majors.

I sold my S2. I liked it. Especially the larger grip. However, I didn't feel it would give me any advantage over my S1. Granted I only shot it about 20-30 rounds. So I sold it to remove the temptation. I didn't want to try to get used to another gun at this pint in the season. At the end of this year I may give it another try.

I chronoed my S2 and it was about 10fps faster.

I didn't feel any differences between the two. Just wondering if others one recoils more than the other. I could feel the S2 weighs more when picking it up. Just didn't seem to soak up anymore recoil than the S1 to me. Which was weird.
