Depends on the Division. All the handgun divisions have a maximum magazine length, either 140mm or 170mm. 170 is Single Stack Major or Open. See USPSA Rules Appendix D for the maximum magazine lengths. No limit for PCC.
New 38 Super brass when I run short of used for local matches for better recovery/reuse. Other than Starline headstamps range brass are set aside for lost-brass matches.
Not a fan of 'Niche Nationals. Back-to-back Irons and Optics at a single venue or return to all-in-one (there weren't near as many divisions the last time that happened).
Match Director can add Divisions in PractiScore under Shooters. Just created a test match as SCSA, and added RFWI and RFWO (W for wheelgun, RFRI and RFRO already used for rifle).
I have an ionbonded Schuemann 6" Tribrid barrel that has taken several ultrasonic baths in Lucas Extreme Duty Cleanere, heated. No effect on the Diamond Black finish from 2005. Looks like new.
Area 2 a while back, Open Major declared; made major but mag didn't fit gauge. They had to mark me as sub-minor to properly get to no score. The slash in my earlier post was to indicate failed equipment check OR sub-minor.
Possibly a higher level of trust among people engaged in a defined activity where you feel confident about your abilities. Fewer unknowns than in general life activities.
If name and number don't match, the USPSA upload process requires manual verification. Yes, Dave X and James X are the same person for A12345. Joined USPSA as James X, but normally goes by Dave X.
Shooting USA coverage of precision rifle matches shows an RO with two timers attached to a stick. Precision rifles are typically suppressed. I don't know how the timers a/er synced. Back to PCC: An AMG Labs timer can be remote started from a PractiScore tablet and clipped to the shooter.
